...feeling like P Diddy.
Ok, not really. Unless P Diddy wakes up exhausted and dreading getting out of bed. I could NOT fall asleep last night! I was laying on the couch, watching Nancy Grace, possibly crying a little over the story of a cleaning guy finding a one hour old baby in a toilet after a circus in South Carolina. Ugh....I'm not even going into that right now. It disgusted me. I turned off the tv and read a little. Started to get tired, turned off the light....then tossed and turned for a good 2 hours.
I could NOT fall asleep!!
Have you ever had a song stuck in your head? Like, it's so stuck in your head, you can't sleep because you keep singing it over and over. Then you fall asleep...only to wake up (to go pee or get a drink) and start singing it again?!?!
I did that last night!
Pink Floyd..."Veeeraaa, Veeeraaa.....what has become of you?"
I don't think I've even heard this song in years. Why was it stuck in my head?
Weird.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
This is how I'm feeling. Cooped up, cabin fever, I need to get away. I've been stuck in my sister's house since Monday night.

This weather needs to stop now. Go away, coldness.
The single digits today? High 25 tomorrow??

Zac has been with his dad since school let out Monday. I can't get him...the roads are too bad.
Leah ventured out yesterday in her 4 wheel drive to go to the grocery store. She took Gage to his friends house. I thought the weather would start to clear up today.
Will this ever end???
I'm go'n craaaazy!!!!!
And.....no cable. Yes, the cable is out. :( No crime shows for me today.
Maybe that's a good thing. I had some weird dreams last night!

Good ole Days
An old picture my cousin Carrie posted on Facebook today.
Abby and Leah in the left bottom corner.
Then Carrie, Jeff, and yep......the fatty in the Porky Pig shirt is porky me. haha.

Awwww, all of us cousins were all so close growing up. And we still are.
I love my family!! :)

Snow day.
I stayed the night at my sister's house last night. Everyone kept saying how bad the weather is going to get. They always say that and it rarely does.
But, to be on the safe side, I stayed at her house...a little closer to work.
I woke up this morning; took a shower, dried my hair, got dressed, then started out the door to get my car started.
Leah said,"Stephanie! You're not seriously getting out in this are you?"
I said,"Yeah. I have to! Patients are coming in. I have to."
She said,"Have you seen it out there?"
"No, but it doesn't matter. I HAVE to go in."
"But have you seen it out there?"
"No. But I HAVE to go in."
"Ok, just be careful. Don't wreck. Don't wreck."
I opened the door and ohh emm gee!! It was a winter wonderland! And it was still coming down.
Stupid me; I go outside in my scrubs and Converse, sinking into the snow. My pants getting soaking wet. Get to the car, step off the curb, and freaking sink down to my knee!
But I'm still attempting this!! I started the car. Blasted the heater/defrost and began tracking back inside.
But then, as I'm brushing my teeth and getting my mascara/eye liner on, my heart starts pounding.
Can I really make it to work? What if I get stuck in the snow like I did the Christmas before last, heading out to my mom's? I was on the side of the road for 2 hours!
Not only that, but I forgot my phone charger last night....I only have ONE bar on my phone!
Oh well. I HAVE to go to work. But man, I have a bad feeling about this!
I go out to the car, get in, turn on the windshield wipers...they won't budge. I scrape the window, my fingers are numb!! I come back inside to get some gloves from Leah and tell her I think I already have frost bite.
Hey, this is Texas. We're not really used to this kind of weather! :)
Ugh, I go back to the car back up to leave....and get stuck. Yes, I drove a whole foot and got stuck. Try as I might...I can't get out. I go forward, I go backward...STUCK!
All that work for nothing. I have to call in.
Damn, my paycheck is going to be mad at me!
So, here I am...cozy in Lucia's bed, with the blowdryer blowing on my (too close for comfort, frost bit) feet.
Just got a text from Brenda at work telling me that we're closed down for tomorrow...see ya Thursday.
Man, my paycheck is going to suck.
Oh well...what are you gonna do?
Wow, that was a long story. With really no great climax. Sorry about that! :)
So as I said in my last post, I brought "Scream" over to watch last night. Lucia said she wanted a scary movie.
I don't think "Scream" is really a scary movie...but I sure did the first time I saw it! So, I figured Lucia would like it! She and Jack both love scary movies.
But I guess I didn't realize how scary it could be for a 9 year old and a 3 year old.
Lucia and Jack "watching" Scream:

hahahahahaha.
They're outside playing in the snow. I guess I'll go take some pics of this crazy blizzard! ;)
Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!!
