Gotta love some Chuck E Cheese

Why am I so tired?? I cannot seem to get caught up on my sleep!! I took a nap after work. Marianne called to see if I was meeting up with her at Chuck E Cheese and I was so tired, I don't even really remember our conversation!

So, we just got home from Chuck E Cheese. We met Marianne, Mickey, and their two beautiful nieces, Marina and Sofia. :) Those girls are just gorgeous!!!
Zac has been begging me to take him for a couple weeks, so he was excited to go. Gage, of course, thinks he's too cool....so, I made him take a picture with his little brother! haha.

Zac got like 3 hundred-something tickets. He was in Chuck E Cheese Heaven.


It was a good time. An hour and a half of playing, and the adults were ready to go!!

So, I'm home now and I put good ole "Twilight" on. :) Loooooove it! I gotta watch the first two movies over again, so I can get ready to go see "Eclipse" with my bff and her twinkie on Monday!! Woot, woot. I can't wait!!!!!!!!

Craziness.

We had a crazy day at work today. Those dang homeless people. haha. Last week, the lady who shaved her legs in our sink came in to use our bathroom. We told her she couldn't use it anymore. She said she has been using our bathrooms since we opened 5 years ago and she'll continue to use them!!
Friday I was off work, but two of my co-workers were outside taking a break. The homeless lady was walking by with her shopping cart and starting yelling and cussing at them!
"What the hell are you looking at you dumb white b*tches!" (She's Mexican). "Yeah, you tell me I can't use your bathroom, but I still do, you dumb white b*tches".
So, she comes in today. She says,"I want to talk to your manager. You tell me I can't use your bathrooms, I can. You can't tell me I can't. If you don't want me using it, call the cops! I'll pee our in your grass, then what? You can't tell me I can't use your bathroom!" She went on yelling at us for a while. Long enough for security from the hospital to get there and bar her. Ridiculous.

Then our computers went down for a good 30 minutes!!! Ugh! I can't do any part of my job if our server is down. So, needless to say, I'm going to be soooo busy when I come in tomorrow. We were really behind when I left. :(
Good stuff, girlfran.

But I'm home now and all is good! :)
Zac is at his dad's for the night. Then July 2nd will start his one month stay with his dad. I'll still get him when his dad is working at the firestation, but it will be a nice little break. I love that kid, but dang he is a handful!!!
Gage is going to his sister's (uhh, his dad's ex-girlfriend's daughter) house until about the 4th or so. He loves going to see her! And if his dead beat dad won't have anything to do with him, at least she does!! She treats him well. They have a lot of fun together!!

Sooooo, I'm just gonna sit back and relax....and watch

Post Secret

Eclipse......but I can't leave out Eric.....

Just two more days until Eclipse!!! I am so excited!!

Not excited enough to go to the midnight showing, like last year. It was a mess!! Standing in line at the mall with a bunch of teenagers...it was ridiculous. Then trying to watch the movie with the teenie boppers squealing in my ears (especially when Jacob took off his shirt...yes, impressive...but HELLO, I'm Team Edward)!! Absolutely will not deal with that again!!!


Not to mention having to get up at 4:14 to be at work at 5:30 a.m.!!! I was soooo tired all day at work the next day...or later that morning.

I think I'll wait a while, maybe take a day off during the week and go see it.



I was going through reading my past blogs...not that I have so many, but the ones that were written last year. And I saw the one where I was talking about how IN LOVE I am with Edward. And how I was SURE the crush wouldn't last much longer....WRONG!! I'm still just as in love with Edward as I ever was!

Even if my new vampire crush is Eric Northman, I still have room in my heart for Edward Cullen. :) But seriously.....wow, ERIC!! ;)

Is he not just freaking hot!! I'd be his fangbanger anyday, yo!!!

Fun little three day weekend!!

So, I just got home from a fun filled weekend at my aunt and uncle's house.
They are some crazy, fun people to hang out with. I didn't want to leave. But it does feel so good to be home! There's no place like home! :)
It's funny, because it's a bit of a shock for my kids to go there and spend the weekend. I guess I'm pretty reserved. I don't cuss, or drink around them. Then we get to Billy and Brenda's, and it's a lot of drinking, smoking, cussing, and music!
First thing when we walk in the door, my aunt and cousin tell Gage he's getting so big! My uncle says, "So, Gage, are your balls big?"
Bahahahaha. I'm like...oh no, he didn't. Gage just blushes and shakes his head. He's definitely not used to that kind of talk.
We stay up late....well, midnight....late for me....everyone else stays up way past then. One night my Aunt Brenda stays up until 4:30. The next night, she and my Uncle Billy stay up until 5:30. And yet, they're still up in the morning, wide awake, waiting until 11 or so to start drinking their beer. All day.
The kids had fun, day swimming; night swimming; fishing; running around acting crazy!!
My cousin's son Ross, he's 14, same age as Gage. They live out on the lake, in the country. Ross gets to drive around. So he drives Gage to the dump, then Gage drives around the dump, and Ross drives back. Of course, they think they are soooo cool doing this!! I was a little mad, because one night I fell asleep about 10 and found out the next morning the boys drove around after I was in bed!! I would never allow that here in town!! But I guess it's the country, not much traffic at all.
One night Gage and Ross are in the truck, listening to music and my Uncle Billy goes and knocks on the window. Ross rolls it down. Billy says,"What are you boys doing? Talking about all the p*ssy y'all are getting." Whaaaaaat????? Ross is used to him talking all crazy and he says,"Yeah, but we aren't getting any yet." And Billy says,"Ohhh, so y'all are talking about all the p*ssy you're gonna get!" Once again, Gage just blushes and shakes his head.
I can't believe he would talk to my 14 year old son like that....but at the same time, I gotta laugh.

Anyways, it was a lot of fun. A lot of drinking, smoking, listening to music, playing Farkle, swimming. haha.
My cousin Ashley cut Lucia's (my niece) hair and it is sooooo cute.

Like I said, I'm glad to be back home, but I also can't wait to go visit again. I love my crazy family!! :)

Filthy restrooms.....and of course, True Blood!!

Working downtown, we get a lot of homeless people coming in. In the summer, they come in to get a cup of water. In the winter, they come in to get a cup of coffee.


I have no problem with that at all. I feel bad for them and I get mad when co workers complain about it. It's sad to me. But it always seems that they start taking advantage of it.


One man was coming in for a while, getting water, using our bathrooms. I would talk to him when he would come in. Or if I was outside taking a break and he came over to talk, I'd talk to him for a while. But then he started getting creepy. Telling me how my smile made his day and I was so friendly, which is fine....then he told me he hadn't been with a woman in 20 years. Ugh, yeah.....that's when I got scared. We ended up calling security on him, we had him barred. He came back and we eventually had him arrested.


Then we had a man coming in to get coffee. He would come in everyday. But then he started taking two cups of coffee. When we didn't say anything about that, he started balancing three cups of coffee on his way out the door. We had to finally tell him that the coffee was for patients only. If he hadn't started taking advantage, we never would've made him stop. He would come back and we ended up having to bar him, too.


But it is now just getting ridiculous. They come in and practically shower in our restrooms. They leave it so dirty, our patients are afraid to sit on the toilet!


After our latest incident, we're to the point where we want to lock the bathroom doors and have patients ask us for a key. Which sucks for our patients.....and for us.


The other day, after I had already left for the day, a patient came to the window and said,"I really hate to tell you this, but your restroom is filthy."


So, the girls said they went in there and there was hair all over our sink. Someone actually shaved in our bathroom. We are a medical facility! And not only was there hair everywhere, but they had actually left the razor on the sink. With the hair on the sink and floor.


That is just disgusting. I feel bad for them, but come on! Seriously???


People just don't care anymore and seem to have no respect. It's gross!!

Anyways, on another note.....I just watched the latest True Blood. OMG. I love Eric. I really, really, really love him! I want him and Sookie to hook up so bad!!

Meet my new love of True Blood. Eric. O. M. G. I just finished Season 1 and Season 2 of True Blood. Yes, I love Jason Stackhouse. He's dumb, he's hot. But, Eric....Ohhhh, Eric. So sneaky, so manipulative, so freaking hot.

I love getting addicted to new shows! I love new loves of new shows!!!

First I loved Sam for Sookie. Leah said,"No, just wait until Eric." Then I loved Bill for Sookie. And Leah said,"No, just wait until Eric." I loved Jason Stackhouse. Leah said,"No, just wait until Eric." So, I finally got to Eric. He was cold, unemotional, seemed to love nothing and no one but himself. And then you get to know the soft side of Eric. Ohhh, he's still manipulative and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. But he has a bit of a heart....even if it's not beating. :)

My favorite line so far........When Sookie and Eric are looking for Eric's maker who they believe has been kidnapped.....

Sookie..."He was your maker, wasn't he?"

Eric..."Don't use words you don't understand."

Sookie..."You had a lot of love for him."

I'm excited I finished the two seasons. But now I'm sad that I have to wait each Sunday for the new episodes. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! It's madness.

Ok, so my sister finally got me watching True Blood. And I love it. My new crush is Jason Stackhouse. He's a filthy, dirty, sex fiend. And he's freaking hot. haha.

I'm just on the first season, but it is sooooo good!! Leah has Season 1 and Season 2 on dvd, and I'm recording Season 3. So I can just watch it straight through. :) Good stuff.

Empty glass, last cigarette.....

I told myself that I would quit smoking when I returned home from our trip to Chicago. Here it is, two weeks later....and I'm still smoking. :(
I came home from BWW last night, smelling like smoke. My throat hurting from smoking and talking over all the loud people there. I came in, sat at my computer to play Spider Solitaire [I play it every night before I got to bed, it makes me sleepy:)], and lit my last cigarette out of my pack. And I thought, is there anything good that comes out of smoking? I smell like smoke, I waste a ton of money, I will get wrinkles faster, look older, possibly get lung cancer, mouth cancer, along with many other medical problems that come from smoking. Plus pass on the second hand smoke to my children!
So, I smoked that last cigarette out of my pack. And as of right now, the next day at 5:26 p.m., it was still my last cigarette.
Quitting is so hard. I've done it many times! Once for about 5 years. The last time for about 3 months. But meeting up with friends for a beer, makes me want to have one. In order to take breaks at work, you pretty much have to smoke. I enjoy my smoke breaks with my co worker. And if I were to take breaks with her after quitting, would I be able to resist smoking a cigarette?? Driving to work, I always smoke. Driving home from work, I always smoke. Sitting at my computer, playing Solitaire before bed, I always smoke.
I know it's only been about 16 hours since my last cigarette, but seriously, everywhere I look I see it. Everytime I turn on the tv, someone has a cigarette hanging out of their mouth. Driving my nephew home today, every person I passed had a cigarette hanging out of their mouth.
It's not an attractive thing to see. I've always thought that. When I see people driving with their window cracked, smoke coming out. But seeing it, still makes me want to do it.
I'll probably smoke a cigarette tonight, when I meet up with my friends. I'm going back and forth in my head,"You don't have to!" "But you want to." "You need to quit!" "You don't have to today, though." Oh little angel on my shoulder.....oh, little devil on the other.....we shall see.
We shall see. Am I ready to quit? Hmmmm, we.shall.see.

Back to life. Back to re.al.it.y.

Oh, it was so nice to go to Chicago. It was a much needed vacation.
Of course, upon arriving home, Marianne finds out her poor husband is in the hospital (he's ok now). She has to go straight to the hospital to stay the night with him there.
Leah comes home to find out that the sewage was backed up in her backyard and her toilet overflowed. Jack loved it, of course. He flushes the toilet and says,"Oh look!! A waterfall!! A waterfall!" haha.
I came home to total perfectness. :) Nothing wrong here. That is, until I get in my car Thursday morning to drive to work. My key will not turn. The ignition is jacked. I try for 30 minutes straight to start my damn car and all I got out of that was a blister on my finger.
So, my dad calls around to see how much it's going to be to get fixed. He calls me back. It's going to be $170, that's for the parts and labor. I'm like....awesome! I thought it would be way worse!

My sister gives me a ride to work Thursday morning. My bff picks me up from work.
My bff gives me a ride to work Friday morning. My sister picks me up. It sucks not having a car.
Leah lets me borrow her car some during the weekend. Then gives it to me Sunday night and I've had it since. I'm thinking how much it's going to suck giving her her Durango back when my car gets fixed. It was nice driving that nice car. :)
So, today my dad calls to tell me my car is ready. Oh, and by the way.....it's going to be $330. Whaaaaat??? That's like double what they quoted!!!
Is it just me, or does anyone else think they should've called and told me it was going to be more before proceeding?? Ridiculous.
Hello, single mom here. Luckily, my dad had given me $100 to put towards the amount due. And my awesome sister was sweet enough to pay the difference until I can pay her back.
What would I do without my family? My sister is the best. Letting me borrow her car for almost a whole week, lending me the money, being there for me to comfort me when I'm crying in her car over the whole ordeal. haha.
I'm such a baby.
Thank God for sisters and bffs. :)
But my crappy car is home now. All is well.

Chicago!!!

So, my cousin Jeff got married the last weekend of May. It was in Chicago, where his bride, Natalie, is from. We had the BEST time there!!! I can't wait to go back!



So, when we got to Dallas, we were looking for a hotel to stay in. We stopped by my Aunt Brenda's hotel. And of course, the minute Marianne saw my aunt's new car, she HAD to get a picture in it!

Marianne loves those mini coopers!! haha......





The first thing we did when we landed in Chicago....after dropping our luggage off at the hotel, was get something to eat. We ate a place called Su Casa. If you're ever in Chicago, don't go there. That place SUCKED!!!

The next day, me, Leah, and Marianne went to go eat at the Billy Goat Tavern.

On the way, I wanted a picture of Leah and Marianne talking, but of course, they caught me taking a picture and stopped to pose. haha. I was like...NO, I want a picture of y'all, just being you!! So, they tried not to pose, but still kinda did. hahaha.

You know that old SNL skit they had about the restaurant that said,"Cheesborger, cheesborger....NO Pepsi, COKE!" Yeah, this is the place that skit is based on. They really said that inside. And don't you dare try to order just a regular cheezborger, noooo, you HAVE to order the DOUBLE cheezborger. You seriously have no choice in the matter.

On the way to the museum, we had to take a pit stop. haha. (I won't go there with that story) I just happened to see this store called the Gage and had to take a picture....because my son is Gage. :)

When we were waiting for the city bus to take us back to the hotel, I saw these kids and HAD to take a picture!! I'm a huge American Idol fan and was a fan of Lee....second to Casey, of course. And since we were in Lee's hometown of Chicago, I had to take a picture!! I asked their mom first if I could take their picture. She said they hadn't let her take their picture all day. haha.

Our last night in Chicago, we went to the Navy Pier!! It was so awesome!!
The plan going is was that EVERYONE was going to ride the ferris wheel, except Marianne because she was scared.

But everyone chickened out. So, my bff...being the bff that she is, rode it with me. It goes around one time and last for seven minutes. The view was perfect! I'm glad my life partner went with me!

At last, our plane ride home. :( I was sad to leave. But also so ready to get home and see my kiddos. I missed them so much!!!!

So, that was our trip. I only took about 250 pictures, I didn't really want to upload all of them on here. haha. That'd take for.ev.vor!!!

I had the best time with my family and my bff. I think she had a good time and is the best bff, because she loved my crazy family as much as I do.

I can't wait to plan our next trip together! :)
