Cat's Eye

I'm a huge fan of Stephen King. Like, seriously. He's so awesome. I love his mind and the way it works. I love the way his stories stay with you. Sometimes they stay with you because they scare the crap out of you, but sometimes they stay with you just because they make you think.
I'll admit there have been a few of his books that have given me nightmares. Bag of Bones gave me nightmares for two weeks straight after reading it.
Gerald's Game left me laying awake in bed, staring into the darkness, wondering if something or someone was there...hidden. Pet Sematary scared me so bad, I had to get it out of my room. I hid it under my couch in the living room. I'm not kidding.
Why do I do that to myself? Because I absolutely love it! I love being scared!
So, when I was little I watched Stephen King's Cat's Eye with my mom and sister.
It scared me so bad! It's a film of 3 or 4 short movies. The one that scared me the most is about a little goblin thing that comes into a little girl's room (little girl played by Drew Barrymore) each night (through a hole that opens up in the wall), and tries to suck out her breath while she sleeps.

This is the scary little goblin. See the little bells at the end of his hat? When he's climbing up her comforter in the middle of the night, you can faintly hear them jingling.

Don't you just love Drew Barrymore? She was always so cute!
Anyway, this cat is in everyone of the short films. He shows up at Barrymore's house, she names him General. She wants to keep him, but mama says NO! She sneaks that kitty in without her mama knowing! And thank God she does, because General is there to save little Drew!!

Good stories! If you've never seen it, you should!
What got me thinking about Cat's Eye? Well, I woke up in the middle of the night. Do you ever do that? Wake up and feel like something woke you up, but you can't quite put your finger on what it was. Well, I did that. I was laying there, thinking....did Zac get up? Did someone knock on my door? Are the dogs barking?
So, I layed there a little longer, listening real hard. I didn't hear anything. So, I started drifting back to sleep. Then I heard a little jingle. And the Cat's Eye goblin came to mind. Oh my gosh! He's in my room! He woke me up by trying to suck the breath out of me!!
haha. Sounds retarded, right?
Well, I'll tell you what....it's not retarded at 12:45 a night! It's oh so real!
Today, it is silly. But I still wonder....what was that one little jingle in my room???

Need a new book to read!

I was making out Christmas cards last night...yes, I'm doing that already! We also got our tree put up yesterday! :)

Anyways, I was addressing the envelopes and Zac asks if he can send a card to Santa. Well, of course, you can! All he has to do is set it beside Happy and he'll make sure Santa gets it.

So, he writes Santa a long note inside the Christmas card, puts it in the envelope, puts one of my stamps on it, gosh! haha. Then brings it to me and says, "Do you like it?"

Well, Zac, you misspelled Santa! You forgot the "n". OH!

Is this better?

Well, Zac....you have the n in the wrong place, it's SaN-TA.

S-A-N-T-A, not S-A-T-A-N. hahaha.

scribble, scribble, scribble

write, write, write

"Is this better?"

"Well..."

"What did I mess up on now?"

"Well, nothing...it looks perfect! Santa will love it!"

Even if you wrote 'Sorry I bib that' instead of "did" with an arrow to the scribbled out "Satan".

hahahaa. I love that kid!

Speaking of which, I can feel my anxiety rising. His appointment is this Wednesday. And while we are all excited about it, to figure out what's going on, I can't help but having the racing heart and sick to my stomach feeling. Ugh. I may need a Xanax the next couple days. Ohhh, just thinking about it, I can't breathe!!!

So, Zac's testing is going to be 4 hours long. I need a good book to read!! I've read all the Sookie Stackhouse novels that are out. I read Stephen King's new book "Full Dark, No Stars"...which was freaking wonderful! Four short stories...oh my gosh. I couldn't put it down!! Loved it!

So, what can I start reading now? Any suggestions? :)

Like mother, like daughter

I'm turning into my mother.
I always said I wouldn't.
But don't we all say that?
I used to get so mad at my mom for never getting out of the house. She would say,"I feel gross, I have nothing to wear, I just want to sit and relax."
That's me, now.
I cannot rememer the last time I made myself get out of the house....I mean, childless, to hang out with friends.
I was supposed to go to a friends big event last night and I didn't. I had planned on it all day, and at the last minute, I just didn't. I had nothing to wear. I was tired. I felt bad, knowing I wanted to be there, knowing I said I would be, but I couldn't make myself get up and get ready.

I cannot remember the last time I put on make up.
Ok, I don't really wear make up anyways, but I used to wear mascara and eyeliner! I don't even do that anymore.
Look at my Thanksgiving pictures.

Tonight is my friend Angela's 30th birthday. Another plan that I have made for tonight. I really want to go. I have all intentions of going.
I tell myself I'm going to take a shower, get dressed, put on some make up, feel good, get out and drink a beer. Enjoy some adult time.
But maybe I'm just doomed to be my mother.
A loner.
A hermit.
A recluse.
I feel myself not wanting to be that....but yet, I am.

Kinda depressing, right?

So, my apologies go to Ms. Marianne and Ms. Micaela. I am so sorry I missed such an amazing night.

Ornament Swap!!

I received my package from my ornament swap partner today!! Karina really went all out. I feel that I kind of fell short on the package surprise bundle. I just sent a couple ornaments and a Christmas card! :/
Karina sent the sweet note, a Christmas card for me and my boys, AND her little guy Miguelito sent my little guy Zackary a postcard!! He'll be so excited to see it when he gets home on Sunday!

Here are all our little surprises! Do it yourself ornaments, me and my boys will enjoy those!! A beautiful hand painted ornament. Candy, pencils, a keychain that has my name on it....oh my goodness....so sweet.

And as a fellow True Blood lover, it was sweet for her to part with these and send them to me. Honestly, if I had bought them for someone, I probably would've ended up keeping them for myself! haha.

I love it all so much! Thank you so much, Mickey, for partnering me up with such a thoughtful gal! :)
Love it alllllll!!!!!!

Family Time

Thanksgiving pictures.....

I actually helped with Thanksgiving lunch this year. Crazy, right? Leah made fun of me because I pulled up a chair to the sink to peel potatoes. At least I helped, right?

This is how I looked for our entire Thanksgiving. I didn't shower or change or put on even a little make up. Take it or leave it. haha.

Lucia and Rachel, I have no idea what this face Lucia is making, weirdo.

Paw Paw with Gavin and Jack. :)

Jack all dressed up for Thanksgiving. Looking just like his daddy. Unfortunately his daddy had to work and missed Thanksgiving this year. :/

My sister Lacey and her boy Gavin.

My boy, Gage.

My Aunt Lisa. (Rachel's mom)

Some how my mom, Leah, and Zac avoided getting their pictures made! :(

We had a good Thanksgiving. How about you?

Fill in the Blank on Black Friday!

Fill in your blanks and link back up at Lauren's blog! :)

1. Black Friday is ridiculous. I think I've gone out once or twice...looong time ago. But I refuse to do it again. I mean, people get trampled to death and shot...over material things! Ridiculous.

2. Christmas shopping this year will include gifts for the children only. I'm not buying for adults anymore. I can't afford it, yo .

3. Holiday shopping makes me happy. When I have the money, I love to shop and buy for other people. But I like to do it when there are not a lot of people out. The crowds drive me crazy.

4. This year my Christmas list will include for myself? I don't make Christmas lists for myself, haha.

5. Bargain hunter, or full price shopper? I just go buy what I need to buy. If it's on sale, wonderful! If not, I still need, so I'm gonna get it! Duh.

6. The best and worst things about shopping is best thing: I love to shop...alone. Just walking around, looking at everything, in my own little world. Worst thing: crazy, pushy people.

7. Online shopper or in-person shopper? Both.

Now answer your own questions and link up! :)

Thanksgiving break....oh yeah! :)

Ohhhh, I am SOOOOO excited for our FOUR day weekend! :)

This morning, when my alarm went off I THOUGHT I hit snooze...but oops, I turned it off. Leah called me at 5:38 am. I'm supposed to be at work at 6:00! I was like,"Uhh, let me call you back!" I got dressed, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth and was out the door! Luckily, Zac had stayed the night with his dad and Gage didn't have school, so he stayed home. I clocked in at 6:05. I wasn't looking my best, but hey.....I didn't look horrible, either! :)

Yesterday was a sad day for me. I found homes for three of my six puppies. :( Here are two of them, one was hiding. The were whining in the car, so I would pet them, then I would stop, and they would whine. One of them started howling!!! Oh my gosh! It was so heartbreaking!! I only have 3 left and I know I have to find homes for the other two, but it just breaks.my.heart. I've grown attached.

Anyways....work was pretty good today. It was busy, so it went by fast. And I got off an hour early! :)

One thing I really love about my job; all the Dr Pepper you could ever want! This is our mini fridge....heaven on earth for me! :)

Another thing I love about my job.....

People magazine. I know they're supposed to be for our patients. But we hand them around until everyone has had a chance to read it, then we put it out for the patients.

Did you see the recent People? Sexiest Man Alive? Heck yeah, I love me some Ryan Reynolds!!! He's hot, he's an awesome actor AND he's freaking hilarious.

Way to my heart?

Making me laugh. Like a laughing hyena. :)
(not really, but ya know...)

Sexiest man to me at the moment......Andy Samberg! He's hilarious AND pretty freakin' hot. I LOVE all his SNL skits and the short films he does.

Hellllloooooo, Hottie McHotterson.

What makes a guy hot to you? My bff likes a hairy chest! EWwwwwww. So not me!! haha. So, I got an ugly example of a hairy chest....but still not attractive. I always give her a hard time about her hairy crushes.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!! I LOVE Thanksgiving. Mostly just the family time. My plate usually consists of:

MASHED POTATOES

COVERED IN GIBLET GRAVY!

Sop that up with a warm soft ROLL!

Yes, that is my meal on Thanksgiving. And I love to tell Leah how much I love giblet gravy, because she hates the word giblet. haha.

Friday night: a very special occasion that I am looking forward to! ;) I'm excited about seeing my bff's twinkie, Mickey!

Long time, no see.

Saturday night: another happy occasion, celebrating my good old friend Angela's 30th birthday! I haven't been out in so long. I could use a beer and some interaction with the outside world. :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and an awesome extended weekend!! :)

Toes

Zac knows very well that he's not supposed to sneak in bed with me. He takes up the whole bed!! But how cute is he, laying across the bed with his feet hanging off? haha.

So, my step dad changed my tire! He's such a good dad :)
Only TWO more days of work and I'm off for FOUR DAYS!! Heck yeah! Love it.
My sister made dinner for us tonight. It was really good. Lucia had her hermit crabs in the sink earlier for "playtime". Leah took them out without Lucia knowing.
She was rinsing dishes in the sink, turned on the garbage disposal and said,"Oh my gosh! I just turned this on and forgot the crabs were in there." Lucia almost staring bawling.
It was funny. Man, we're mean. haha.

Monday always comes too soon....

Oh, Sunday night already! I can't believe we're starting another work week. It was a fun and busy weekend.
Friday night, Jack stayed the night. We were all asleep by 9 p.m.
I woke up at 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Zac and Jack woke up at 6 a.m. Ugh. So much for some quiet time that morning! I let the boys play, took Jack home around 11:30. Then we went out to my mom and step dad's house. My step dad cooked out some hamburgers and hot dogs! It was his daughter's birthday. THEN.....me, Zac, Leah, Dustin, Jack, and Lucia went to the Christmas Light parade downtown. Gage stayed the night with his friend Travis. There were two really weird white trash women that kept staring at us and trying to talk to us. When the people in the parade threw candy the women jumped in front of our kids to take it. Then they'd hand the kids the gross candy and keep the good candy. Like they were being nice by giving the kids the candy they picked up. Ridiculous. I was standing with my back to them, to let them know, I was trying to enjoy the parade with my family and to stop staring and talking our ears off. One girl actually started patting on my arm to get my attention, just to tell me that the fire trucks were so loud, she had to cover her ears. Seriously? Maybe I'm a bitch, but it was really annoying. Really annoying.
Lucia came home with us after the parade and stayed the night with us. Zac and Lucia brought the puppies in and played with the most of the night. They had a good time.
This morning we were just hanging out at the house and decided to go eat some breakfast. So at about 10 or so; me, Zac, Lucia, Jack, Gage, and Travis all went to eat at IHOP. Yeah, that's me with a 7 yr old, 9 yr old, 3 yr old, and two 14 year olds. Good times, baby.
Theeeeen, I went home and cleaned some freaking house! I mean, it is spotless!! I'm so very proud of myself. I'm even a little sore from being on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor. Woot, woot! I rule.
So, after I cleaned house, I went to feed the puppies and realized we were about out of dog food. So, me and Zac drove into town to go by some more. We went to do that and get some McDonalds (ewwwwww). Came home, went inside to eat, then I went back outside to get the stuff that we had bought at the store....and I had a flat tire.
Seriously?
Soooo, my step dad (God love him) came out to change my tire for me. He got down to the last bolt and it would NOT budge. We couldn't get it off for nothing!!!! :(
So, he's coming back tomorrow after work with something or other..to get the last damn bolt off.
UGH! It's been a busy weekend.
Now, here I am, staying the night at my sisters with my boys, so she can take me to work tomorrow morning.
Anywaysssss, that was my fun filled weekend!! How was yours? :)

I'm not an animal person AT ALL, but........

...I'm attached!
This Saturday the puppies will be 5 weeks old. Which means, one more week and I have to start trying to find them a home. :( I'm already so attached to them. It's going to break my heart. They already have their own little personalities. They are just so freaking adorable. Barking and growling and crawling all over you, licking you. I LOVE THEM! :(
If it's this hard on me now, I cannot even imagine how it's going to be for my boys.
But I CAN'T keep them all.
Is this not the most adorable thing ever?????
Last night I went to check on Zac, because he was being so quite. He had his door shut. I opened the door and what do I see? He went outside and got Fatty. They were laying down watching tv together. haha.
NO DOGS IN THE HOUSE!!!!!
But really.....it was so cute. I couldn't make him put him back out!!

Soooo, anyone who lives around here.....know anyone that wants a puppy? :)

Is my boy handsome or what? :)

Happy Monday!!

I haven't been posting pictures of my postcards from Postcrossing. It's hard with no internet at home :( But here are a couple that I absolutely loved, so I had to post them. :)
Tom Hanks is one of my FAVORITE actors! I love just about EVERY movie he's ever been in!
Saving Private Ryan, The Burbs, Joe Vs the Volcano, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, just to name a few of my faves with him! :)
So, needless to say, I was super excited when I received this postcard!!

This one was just sweet. It's one of my faves, too!

So, I bought Zac "The Elf on the Shelf". It's the cutest thing ever. It comes with a book and a little elf. Yes, an elf doll. I'm not fond of dolls, but Zac begged me to buy his this.
The elf is on your shelf, then at night he flies to the North Pole to tell Santa how your little one has been for the day. He flies back and lands somewhere else, and you have to find him. It's actually a pretty good way to get your kiddos to mind! :) Zac named his elf Happy and when he's acting up, I tell him that Happy's not going to have very nice things to say to Santa.
haha. Yes, it's kinda sad that my SEVEN year old believes in this, but hey....whatever it takes. :)

This is Happy. His eyes seem to move and watch me where ever I go. ew.

Happy Monday!!

Cigarette, please. :D

You know, it has been 55 days since my last cigarette. And if I'm being honest, I've wanted a cigarette just about every one of those 55 days. Whether it be the worrying over Zac and his doctor appointments, or the stresses of having a 14 year old son that is....well, acting like a typical 14 year old boy. Ya know, it could be I saw a woman smoking on tv and it made me want one. Point is!.......that I still want to smoke. I have dreams that I light a cigarette and take two drags and love it...then I'm just disappointed in myself for smoking after doing so well for so long!
Ok, I got off track. I'm good at that.
On with my story.....yesterday made me want to start smoking again. NOTHING makes me want to do something more, than when someone tells me I can't do it.
Ridiculous!!! Them...NOT me!
Here are some of the rules:
  • No smoking in parking lots and/or driveways that are used by (my place of business)
  • in any (mpob) vehicles
  • Vehicles on property that is owned, leased or used by (mpob)
  • All property, sidewalks and streets that are adjacent to (mpob) owned or leased property
  • they want us to hand out informational cards to give employees/patients who are observed smoking on work property.
  • Have to inform patients that leaving the campus while admitted will not be allowed. ....leaving campus while admitted is classified as leaving “against medical advice.”

  • If you carpool to/from work, attend training classes or other work-related functions may not smoke in the vehicle with other employees present

  • Not allowed to leave the workplace while “on the clock" hourly employees who leave work property(to smoke) must clock-out upon leaving and clock-in upon returning.

  • Must refrain from using tobacco products on the property of nearby businesses and residences, including public streets and sidewalks

Ok, is it just me or does that seem a little extreme? Not to mention if you come in smelling like smoke, you could be fired.

Ridiculous. I don't even smoke anymore....but I sure want to now. :p

Blue Valentine

So, I saw the previews to a new movie that I sooo want to see.
The only thing that SUCKS is that it being released in limited areas. Which, of course, means good ole Wichita Falls won't be showing it in their theater.
Seriously aggravating.
I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD. laaaame.

Anyways, the movie stars one of my main movie star crushes...Ryan Gosling.
Hello, the Notebook! Fell in LOVE with him in that.
Also Lars and the Real Girl. Heartbreaking.
Not to mention Half Nelson. Wonderful.
He's just an amazing actor who shows emotion so well. Sorry, I got a little sidetracked there. :) Opposite my boyfriend, stars the beautiful Michelle Williams.
Ok, so the movie is called 'Blue Valentine'. It a story, past and present of their relationship. Supposedly they go to a hotel room for a night to save their marriage. It goes back to the beginning of the love. You know...that beginning love...where you feel like nothing can go wrong. There's a lot of laughs and silliness. :) Then comes the problems, of course. Then it comes to a point where someone wants out. But the other doesn't. Right? Because that's how it usually goes. One wants to fight for the relationship and the other is just done. But it's heartbreaking, because you want to be what you once were....you just don't know how to get it back.
This is what this preview tells me anyways.
I wanted to cry just watching the previews.
I can't wait until I get to see it.
I love you, Ryan Gosling. :)

So, here's the preview...watch it, love it, want to see it....just like me. <3 style="background-image: url("http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/rHbJn2rC8s8/hqdefault.jpg");" width="480" height="295">

wee bit wednesday

wee bit wednesday

link up. :)

{one} do you collect anything? if so, what and how long have you been collecting?
I don't really collect anything. I want to start collecting crosses to hang on my wall. I have two! haha. I also love the Willow Tree figurines. My sister bought me one and my friend Jauque bought me one. I want to buy some more. :)

{two} what is one cleaning tip that you swear by?
Welllll, I'm not really much of a cleaner. I'm more of a straighten-upper. haha.

{three} who would you call for bail money?
My sister, Leah, of course.

{four} what is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Summers, playing outside from sun up to way after sun down.

{five} name a few of your guilty pleasures.
Used to be cigarettes! But I haven't had one in 53 days....thank you very much. :) So, I'll say Dr Pepper and Hot Fries...and most recently, the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

{six} how early do you start your holiday shopping?
Ugh, I hate to think about it. Seriously.

{seven} what is a family tradition that you would like to pass on to your significant other/children?
All my traditions are with my kids. Sooo....I don't know...

{eight} what do you consider your greatest achievement?
Being a mother to my boys. Raising them on my own. Even if I don't always make the best choices...I'm doing the best I can. :D

{nine} what do you do to pamper yourself?
Lay in bed with the blowdryer blowing on my feet, reading a good book. Seriously, it's so relaxing, it's my fave thing to do!

{ten}
if you were to start your own restaurant, what would it be called?
Maybe Jimmy Go Go's....inside joke between my sister and my cousins. That's what I told my cousin she should name her new tattoo shop. haha

Tuesday! yay!

It's been a good week so far. Which, I guess isn't really saying much...since today is just Tuesday :)

Yesterday was a fun and crazy day at work! Brenda brought her "fart machine" to work with her. It's a little speaker that has a seperate remote. Ashley had it in her pocket and Brenda was pushing the button. Ashley was laughing so freaking hard. Brenda would push the button and make her fart while she was laughing.

I was like....Oh my gosh, Ashley!! What is wrong with you?!?!? haha. FINALLY I figured out it was fake. But it was still funny.

Then they hid it on the nurses station. They hid while looking out a window and everytime one of the nurses bent down, they made the sound. One of the nurses came up to the front and said,"Stephanie! Where's Ashley?? She has some kind of farting machine! Everytime we bend over it makes a pooting sound." haha. I was cracking up!

Good stuff!!

Today one of the nurses brought us some Corn Chowder for lunch and it was so good! With some banana pudding for dessert! YUM!

Saturday the circus was here. I tried to take the boys, but once we pulled up Zackary started FREAKING out!! He didn't want to go!! :( So, we didn't get to do that. I was looking forward to going! I haven't been in a long time!! The last time I went was when I worked at the State Hospital. We took the kids and of course, one of them tried to run off. haha. Good times. We had to chase him down and hold him in the parking lot until one our co workers came to pick him up.

So, needless to say, we didn't get to enjoy that circus!! And before that??? I believe Gage was about 4. So, it's been a long time. I would've liked to go.

Oh well.

So, in the car Gage and his friend Casey were telling riddles. They were some pretty good riddles!

Casey:

There's a dog that has a 5 foot rope tied around his neck, his dog food is 6 feet away. How did he get to it and eat it?

Gage was like, "duh, you didn't say the end of the rope was tied to anything". Wow. I coudn't have figured that out.

Gage:

He who builds it, doesn't need it. He who buys it, doesn't use it. He who uses it, doesn't know he is. What is it?

None of us could figure out the answer to that.

Answer is: a coffin. Pretty good, right?

So, Zac didn't want to be left out. Here's his riddle! :)

A mom buys a boy a Christmas present and tells him he can't use his hands or nails or anything to open it, how does he get it open?

We were all, hmm...I don't know! How Zac??

Answer: He has a little sister and has her open it for him.

hahaha.

d.o.r.k.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far! :)

Friday, Payday, Friday, Payday

It's Friday! And payday!!
So, you'd think I would be in a better mood. But man, I'm in a foul mood today!
I woke up with a freaking fever blister. I HATE fever blisters. Disgusting.
I had yesterday off. I usually love days off, but we had Zac's doctor appointment yesterday. We got there at 8:15 and left a little before 10. My sister (support system) went with me. We just talked with the doctor about Zac. She was really sweet. I have to take Zac back December 1st for testing. It's FOUR HOURS of testing. They're testing him for Aspergers Disorder. Which is a type of autism, from what I gathered.
So, of course, being the emotional mess that I am, there was a lot of crying involved, while talking to the doctor.
Gage's school has their big rival football game, so he was at school from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. last night! School from 7:50-2:50; baseball practice from 2:50-5:00; then the "Happening" from 5:00-9:00!! Apparently they had a parade, bon fire, fireworks and all that good stuff.
I was never that involved in school to care about stuff like that, so I'm glad Gage seems to be. :)
So, it sucks coming in to work after having the day off. I have certain things that I get done before I leave everyday...that have to be done to make my morning go a little more smooth. And of course, none of it is done.
(Not bad-mouthing you, Ash!) There's no way for the girls who do billing to know everything I do up front, so I'm not complaining about them. You just get used to your routine and it's all jacked when you have the day off...ya know? ;) I still love you, Ashley and Brenda! Plus the other receptionist was off yesterday, too. So, that doubley :) sucked for Ash and Bren.
Anywaysssss, I just need to think "Friday, payday, Friday, payday".
No kids tonight, either!
What to do? What to do?
We shall see.

Have I mentioned that it's been 48 days since my last cigarette?
And I still want one EVERYDAY!
just sayin'.

word.

Monday, Monday

So....all of my original plans fell through this weekend, but that's ok...it was still a good one :)

Last night a big bunch of us went trick or treating. Probably about 8 adults and 6 kids. haha, more adults than kids...but it was fun.

A little.

I must say, Halloween just isn't what it used to be. Me and my sister were talking about that last night.

We remember (back in the day) when the streets were filled with kids. No adults....it was a time when kids could go alone....but there were kids running up and down the streets. Every porch light was on and every house had candy to hand out.
People hid and scared the kids, or dressed up and sat quietly until the kids came up to their porch and would jump at them.
Now days, only every 3rd or 4th house is lit up....if that. No one hiding or scaring anyone.
We saw other kids trick or treating maybe every 10-20 minutes.
It's just not what it used to be.
I wish my kids could've been trick or treating when I was a kid. Because, man, it was the best.
No one has the Halloween spirit anymore. :(
Of course, Gage is too big to go trick or treating. So, he and his girlfriend just handed out candy.

Today, I would also like to introduce you to the newest member of our family!!!
My cousin Carrie (Annabel's mom) had her second little girl today!!
Meet Ava Joy!!
Born today at 7:22 a.m. 6 lbs 15 oz.!!
Just lovely. :)
