My vacation

My week vacation officially started today. I suppose.
I've been off work since Thursday, when I my clumsy ass broke my ankle.
Today, 4 days later, is the first time I have ventured out of my house.
Do you know how boring it is to be stuck in your house, for four straight days, with no kids (Gage is with his sister and Zac with his dad, since I couldn't get around to do anything for him), no car, no phone service??
It sucks.
I managed to watched all THREE seasons of True Blood before last night's very first episode of Season 4.
May I say how wonderful last nights episode was???

Ok, so Saturday I did finally get my car back. Today I decided to take a drive to my sister's house. I couldn't stand being alone any longer. My sisters and I went to eat at Casa Manana. I'm still not great at handling the crutches, but I suppose I'm a little better than I was when I first got them.
This is my ankle......or should I say cankle.
Fat ass ankle with bruises. Nice, huh?

The pain meds make it a little easier to bare. :)

It just sucks that this had to happen right before my vacation!!!

But it was nice to get out of the house today and socialize a little bit.

Friday my mom and step dad brought me out a 12 pack of Dr Pepper, because I was out...and that sucked. Saturday, Leah brought me some Taco Bueno.

Other than that....just me. All by my lonesome.

I'm still chillin at my sisters right now. I had to take some pain medication and take a nap :)

Soooo, that's what's been up with me. A whole lotta nothing!!

I'm ready for my ankle to heal, so I can go back to doing the little things that I apparently take for granted being able to do!

I watched another Stephen Dorff movie this weekend! :)
I guess I'm going to look up all his movies and watch them!

This one is about a normal guy, with a fiance and a son.
He owns his own business, he's just working to support his family.
A good guy. A hot guy.

One night he wakes up and hears someone in his house. He chases the guy outside, telling him to stop. The guy reaches into his pocket and starts to turn and Wade (hottie Stephen Dorff) whacks him with a baseball bat. :(

The guy dies and Wade is sent to prison for involuntary manslaughter.
So, now this regular joe has to adapt to prison life.
It's so sad.

There's this movie I had been wanting to see, with Stephen Dorff.

It's called "Somewhere". I finally watched it last night. I guess I was a little disappointed, because it wasn't as good as the previews made it out to be.
But...that happens a lot.

And I can't really complain....because, uh....hello, it was Stephen Dorff. And he's hot!!

So, yeah.....I'd watch it again. Just to look at him.

He was actually in one of my favorite movies when I was little (and he was little...we're so meant to be together).

It was called "The Gate".
It was like a kid's scary movie. Gage loved it too when he was little.

I LOVED this movie. It was so wonderful.

Amy Adams did such a good job, too!!

And Christian Bale. OMG. Christian Bale was disgusting. He was perfect. I love Christian Bale, he's pretty hot....but man, they had him looking rough!!

I am so excited that "Blue Valentine" FINALLY came here!! I'm going to see it tomorrow, ferrr surrre, baby!

AND BOOKS! I'm reading "Water for Elephants". It took me a bit to get into it, but now I can't put it down!!
I guess I just love escaping from reality. :)

Speaking of reality, Zac's appointment went well yesterday.
The doctor seems to think that medication for his anxiety would benefit him more than ADHD medication. He thinks that the anxiety is causing his inability to focus.
So, last night we started Lexapro. We're ready to see how this will work for him.
Hopefully it helps the anxiety and hopefully it will also help him with his little ticks (blinking, hand movements).

We shall see.
I'm so glad it's the weekend. I haven't been able to get much sleep, since the weather has been bad. Staying the night at my sister's to be closer to work...I stay up later. Watching movies, hanging with the kids. Ugh! I need my 8 hours!!!
Speaking of watching movies, we watched "Paranormal Activity 2". It wasn't as good as the first one, but I liked it. Zac, Lucia, and Jack were all line up on the couch with a blanket pulled up over their noses, watching with us. They were scared, but unable to tear their eyes away. :)
Good stuff.

Blue Valentine

So, I saw the previews to a new movie that I sooo want to see.
The only thing that SUCKS is that it being released in limited areas. Which, of course, means good ole Wichita Falls won't be showing it in their theater.
Seriously aggravating.
I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD. laaaame.

Anyways, the movie stars one of my main movie star crushes...Ryan Gosling.
Hello, the Notebook! Fell in LOVE with him in that.
Also Lars and the Real Girl. Heartbreaking.
Not to mention Half Nelson. Wonderful.
He's just an amazing actor who shows emotion so well. Sorry, I got a little sidetracked there. :) Opposite my boyfriend, stars the beautiful Michelle Williams.
Ok, so the movie is called 'Blue Valentine'. It a story, past and present of their relationship. Supposedly they go to a hotel room for a night to save their marriage. It goes back to the beginning of the love. You know...that beginning love...where you feel like nothing can go wrong. There's a lot of laughs and silliness. :) Then comes the problems, of course. Then it comes to a point where someone wants out. But the other doesn't. Right? Because that's how it usually goes. One wants to fight for the relationship and the other is just done. But it's heartbreaking, because you want to be what you once were....you just don't know how to get it back.
This is what this preview tells me anyways.
I wanted to cry just watching the previews.
I can't wait until I get to see it.

Rollercoaster Day

Today was like a rollercoaster ride. Quite a few ups and downs.
I woke up 15 minutes before my alarm went off...feeling pretty good. Ohhh, it's gonna be a good day! :)
I got Zac up at 5:30, to take him to his Nana's. I always carry him, because I feel bad waking him up so early in the morning and making him walk. He weighs half of what I weigh...and that's like dead weight...he's getting pretty heavy. But I'm like...oh well...it's my work out for the day. :)
Well, I walked down my porch steps, twisted my left ankle, fell to right knee, and caught/balanced myself with my left arm. Needless to say, all day my left ankle, right knee, and left shoulder were hurting. ;) Good times.
I got to work and Brenda bought Gage an amp from a garage sale this weekend! The guitar my other co worker gave us is acoustic/electric! So that's exciting.
It was a busy day and I got in trouble because it was thought that I was putting work off on another co-worker when in reality I was super busy and couldn't get to that one thing. I thought I was "on the list" but, it turned out ok....I think.
I also think I have a mouse in my house! I saw something scurry behind the fridge! Nooooooo!!! I hate mice. Those dirty, squeaky, little infested things! Ugh.
But, I got home today and had THREE postcards in the mail and one of my cds...from the mixed tape swap. :) I'm super excited to listen to it!! :)

These are my postcards and CD. Top left is from Arkansas, Middle top is from Australia, right top is from Finland. The bottom is the package and CD I received, also from Australia!! Too sweet. I love when people put a personal touch to the things they send!!

I believe I'm going to love this CD because she wrote the music track on the back....some good ones!!! Nirvana, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cranberries, Garbage.....oh yes, I will love this CD! :)

More bad news, though. This was devastating to me. I wanted to cry. I'm just at a loss for words.

My love. My true love, one and only, real love of my whole life.....was just 3 short hours away from me yesterday...and I did not know.

Had I known.....if only.....ohhh, 3 hours...what is 3 hours???? I could've easily driven THREE HOURS to see...even just a glimpse of my soul mate...Robert Pattinson. :(

"Candy Cane"

Well, I guess back to work tomorrow :( It sure was nice having an extra day off during the week. But only 3 more days and it will be the weekend....again. :)

Another child free weekend! Zac will be at his dad's the next two weekends, before school starts...and Gage is hanging out with his friend Cory, until he has to go back to BOSTON! I thought he moved to Washington.....hmmm, they both end in "ton". haha. Whatev.

I love Steve Zahn and Paul Walker. Steve Zahn cracks me up in this movie. Well, really in pretty much every movie he's in. He was also in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" that Zac and I watched the other day. Cute movie. :)

But really, I REALLY love to look at Paul Walker. Major crush on this boy.

He's just too pretty for words. :) And he's the ONLY reason I'll watch the "Fast and the Furious" movies. :)

So, Dr. Ho is out for the next two weeks. It's going to be slooooow in the office! Which is just fine with me! Dr. Wilson only has 6 cases tomorrow!!! HOPEFULLY I'll get to get off work early!! :)

I left work today and rented "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" for Zac. He's been wanting to see it for a long time. I would've taken him to the movies to see it....because I LOVE movies and so does Gage....but noooooooo, not Zac!! He absolutely HATES going to the movies. I think it's the whole sitting still, quietly. That's so not Zac. haha. So, anyways....I had to rent it for him. Gage saw it at the movies with my sister and niece. They all three loved it.
So, I'm going to have a movie/pizza night with my boys tonight. :) Perfect date!!

Two days down, three to go!!

Already Wednesday tomorrow! Woot, woot! I love when the week goes by fast. Unfortunately it also mean the weekend flies by!

So, I came home today with two more postcards in my mailbox! It's so nice getting something in the mail....other than bills! :)

Gage thinks I'm retarded for doing it. He was like..."are you lonely or something? Get a boyfriend!" haha. I was like....uhh, yeah. I've done my time with boyfriends. I doN'T WANT a boyfriend!! Now is MY time!!! And I love it! And I love getting postcards from all over the world. I think it's neat. :) Yeah, I just said neat.

So, one postcard was from Heidi in Virginia. She sent a postcard to Zac yesterday and one to me today. :) (Direct swap)

Sorry the pics aren't that great. I cannot find my scanner! It was in my garage....I'm thinking I might've sold it in the garage sale I had when I first moved in. Oops.

So, I have to take pics of my postcards with my phone. Needless to say....poor quality. haha.

Then I got a postcard from Joy in Taiwan. So freaking awesome. :)

So, after work, I went to pick up Gage's friend (my second son), James. He's staying the night tonight. Then we went out to my mom's and the boys went fishing while me and my mom discussed Sunday nights "True Blood". LOVE IT!!! Then we ate some Subway, then grocery shopping.

Now, I'm just telling you about my day, while watching the super sexy Mark Wahlberg in "Fear". LOVE this movie!! I, of course, used to LOVE New Kids on the Block. I was IN LOVE with Donnie Wahlberg....now I say..."little did I know, he had a much sexier younger brother!" What can I say.......I'm a Wahlberg girl!

My favorite thing about going to the movies: PREVIEWS!

When I go to the movies, I HAVE to get there in time for the previews. It's like....my favorite part of going to the movies.

Yesterday I saw the previews to Paranormal Activity II. A lot of people didn't like the first one, but I LOVED it! I thought it was really good. So, I'll have to see the second one when it comes out! :)

I don't know how good this movie is going to be. But it's Ryan Reynolds...I have to see what it's going to be about.

I mean, it's Ryan Reynolds....look at that stomach. I just wanna lick it.


This is a movie I'm definitely going to have to see. The previews made me want to cry, so I know I'll love it!

I never liked Zac Efron. That is, until I saw him in '17 Again'. Ohmigoodness! The boy grew up...and turned into quite the little hottie. And he can act. Is it just me, or does it seem like my celebrity crushes are getting younger and younger? haha. I always liked 'em young. haha.
