Happy Hump Day! :) Yes...I'm ready for the weekend! Imagine that.

Ok, so the storm has been here for a while...I'm just wondering when it will clear out.
I swear it's like, one thing after another.
But it's nothing I can't handle :)

So, I seem to be covered in some sort of rash/hives. I'm taking Benadryl (snore) and Predisone (a steroid, yay). UGH!
I'm so itchy. It sucks.

I'm bah-roke from all the doctor visits (for me & the boys) and medication! It's ridiculous.
Zac is having oral surgery this Friday. My poor baby.

Gage had a friend (Travis) stay the night earlier this week. They were outside playing baseball and Gage found a horny toad!

I can't remember the last time I saw a horny toad!!
Aren't they like...almost extinct?
Hmmmm...
Gage came home from drivers ed the other day with a new pick-up line.
Yes, apparently they don't just teach driving in drivers ed.
Once you have a license, and a vehicle (his has a truck already!), you have to know how to pick up the chicks.
So, Gage's new pick up line:
"Hey, don't we go to separate high schools together?"
Yeah....doesn't make any sense, but it's funny! :)
Oh, I'm so proud.

On to my Zackary.
Poor baby has to have oral surgery this Friday :/
I'm telling you....we are doctor/hospital bound lately!!

Here's a picture of Zac after riding the 4-wheeler with Gage out at my mom's.

Here's a tip for ya....Don't ride on the back of the 4-wheeler, facing the back, when riding on a lot dirt.
Your face WILL be covered in dirt!!
hahahaha.
Sneaky Zackary has also somehow convinced the teachers at the youth center that he's going into the 4th grade next year (he'll be in 3rd). That way he can hang out with the 4th grade and up, instead of the 3rd grade and under group.
Uhhh, sneaky little shit!!
He wasn't very happy with me yesterday when I called him out on it!! haha.
Sometimes he just cracks me up.

My favorite postcard this week on Postsecret......

Yep, my boys are definitely as weird as I am....and I'm ok with that! :)

anti

I haven't been much of the blogger lately.

It's weird how sometimes I feel the need to share just about everything that's going on in my life...
then out of no where, I'm just like, ok....maybe I don't feel like sharing so much.

I think maybe that happens when I have so much going on, that the thought of having to think about it, to put into words, just wears me out.
That's how it's been lately.
There has been so much going on that I just don't want to think.
I don't want to talk about anything of any importance.

I want to talk about my crush on Stephen Dorff. I want to tell you about movies I've been watching.
I want to fill in the blanks. Ask me a question or start the sentence for me....and I'll answer it.
It's so much easier that way sometimes. :)

But I will tell you this:
Gage started drivers ed last night *tear*
!!!
And while the thought of NOT having to drive him from here to there all the times is quite nice, I'm still.....scared, nervous, worried, sad, stressed.
I mean, I trust him. I've been taking him out driving since he was 13. He's a pretty good driver.
But at the same time....I know how it is when you get your license. And you're free. And you're driving your car...without an adult.
I still have 8 months until he turns 16. I need to calm down.
haha.

Ok, I gotta get back to work now.
Have a fabulous day, all!

Happy Mother's Day to ME!! :)

My boys each gave me an awesome Mother's Day gift!!
I looooved them both!!

Now.....I'm telling you....you HAVE to watch the YouTube video I posted in my last blog before continuing down to Gage's Mother's Day gift.

For real.
It's funny.
Do it! :)

Unfortunately, this Mother's Day weekend was Zac's dad's weekend, so I did not have Zac on Mother's Day.

But he gave me my Mother's Day gift on Friday. :)
A painting of....yours truly! :)

How freaking adorable is this??? My little artist! :)

And, my gift from Gage.
Like I said....you have to watch the video to get it.

I loved it.
It's the thought that counts right?
and it made me laugh. :)

He is his mother's son.
I love my boys! :)

Hope all you Mothers out there had a great Mother's Day!! :)

Watch this, man.

A while back, Gage showed me this video, because he thought it was freaking hilarious.

I have to admit....it's pretty funny....take a look!

You have to watch this video to understand my next blog. :)

Time.....? Where did you go??

My boy is 15 years old.
omg.
First of all, how in the world do I have a 15 year old?
It's amazing how fast time flies, especially once you have kids. :(
Next year my boy will already be driving!!
How is that possible?
I think back to when I was 15 and I'm scared to death for him to be this age! This is about the age that I kinda went a little crazy!!
But he's a good boy.
I think.
It will be alright.
I'm sure....
Anyways, Gage's birthday party this weekend was so much fun! I booked an awesome two bedroom, two bath, kitchen, and living room suite....here in town.
The suite was big, but our group was bigger. Me, Leah, Marianne, Adrien, Gage, Travis, Derek, Andrew, Zoe, Ariel, Lucia, Noa, Jack for a little while. He mostly stayed home with his dad, though.
Friday, I left work early to go buy groceries and decorations. I bought a huge Justin Bieber V.I.P. Party door cover. hahahaha. Purple plates, Justin Bieber napkins, lots of balloons, Happy Birthday signs. We always tease Gage about loooooving JB.
Of course, he's like every teen boy and thinks he gay. So, that was pretty funny.
I thought.
Lucia loved it, of course. haha.
So, Friday nights adventures were fun.
We first went looking for Witches Gate, but no one could really remember where exactly it was. So then we went to the old abandoned Insane Asylum. It was super scary!! The cops were called on us. But the (good looking) cop was awesome and talked to us for about 10 minutes. He even told us some stories he had heard about the place. He said we could stay as long as wanted. He just wanted to make sure we weren't gang bangers or drug dealers. haha. We wanted to have him take a picture with Gage, so he'd have a good story about how the cops were called on him on his 15th birthday. haha. But the cop said they're not allowed to do that anymore. Apparently cops used to take pictures with people on scavenger hunts, but they were altered and put on the internet. haha. So, yeah...they're not allowed to do that anymore!
Then we went to an old scary cemetary at the end of a road (out towards where I live..not cool). It was pitch black, but we kept seeing a little light flash in the distance. We scared ourselves silly and ran from the cemetary. I couldn't find Gage and started freaking out, asking everyone,"Where's Gage? Where's Gage?"
Yeah, he and Travis had ran off to run around the cemetary. ugh. They thought that was hilarious.
So not funny.
Then we picked up some Taco Bueno (yum!) and headed to "Pinky's Cave". Which pretty much sucked.
But the rest of the night was fun. :)
Saturday nights adventure was even more fun than the night before. We went to another cemetary. A huge cemetary that has like 3 levels. It wasn't as scary as the small cemetary we went to the night before, though.
Then we went to Shashony Park (I think that's how you spell it?).
This is a big camp site out by Lake Arrowhead. There are tons of trails and it's super dark. We drove around, got out and walked around a few times. The boys would get out and walk beside the car, or on top of the car, or on the bumper, or just sitting in the back with the back open, hanging their legs out.
It was a lot fun.
I think we had more fun staying in town than when we went to the cabins. The boys were able to go to the mall and do other stuff around town during the day.
I loved being able to lay in bed during the day, while they were out, just reading or watching movies.
:)
Happy Birthday to my boy!!

Saturday Night.

Tonight, Gage and his girlfriend, Melissa, baby sat Lucia and Jack while me and Leah went to a movie.
Lucia had a good time with them.
She painted Gage and Melissa's nails and did their hair up in bows. :)
Gage painted Lucia and Jack's nails, too.

What movie did I see, you ask? Well, "Blue Valentine" of course.
Can I just say that Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams were wonderful in this movie.

They played the parts perfect. My heart ached watching it.
I could really relate to Michelle's role and it was heartbreaking.
To be in a marriage that just...isn't. To get to that point where you just can't take it anymore. For him to touch you, makes you cringe. To feel like you have to "be with" him, because you're married and feel that it's your "duty".
To want so bad to make it work, because you know that's what they want...but you're just to the point where you can't. You just can't.
I've been there.
And Ryan's part. I saw him in his part, too.
The constant need for attention. The child-like behavior. The thinking that they're so funny, when really...they're just annoying.
Also the sadness of seeing them try so hard, but that trying so hard only pushes you further away.

It's just a perfect story.

Dean (Ryan Gosling):
I feel like men are more romantic than women. When we get married we marry, like, one girl, 'cause we're resistant the whole way until we meet one girl and we think I'd be an idiot if I didn't marry this girl she's so great. But it seems like girls get to a place where they just kinda pick the best option... 'Oh he's got a good job.' I mean they spend their whole life looking for Prince Charming and then they marry the guy who's got a good job and is gonna stick around.

"I'm not a regular mom, I'm a cool mom"

Ok, so I get off work about 2:15 everyday. The minute I get in my car, I take my shoes off. Then I drive across town and wait for Gage to get out of school (2:50). These 30 minutes (or so) are my only alone time during the day. I like to sit back and relax. So, I pull up across the street from the school, roll down my windows, lean my seat way back, prop my feet up out the window, and listen to my music. The music I listen to varies, depending on my mood. Sometimes it's Eminem. Sometimes, Bob Seger. Sometimes, I even like to listen to good ole Justin Bieber. :) Every once in a while, I wonder if Gage is embarrassed by his mom being all laid out in the car. Feet moving along with the beat of the music. He wouldn't tell me if he was....or wait, he probably would. Anyways, today as I started my ritual, I stuck my feet out the window...with my hot pink and black Valentine heart socks that say "Kiss Me" "Yes" and "Love Ya" all over them...while jammin' out to the new Bruno Mars song, Gernade....I thought, maybe today I've gone too far. Valentine socks? So, I put my feet on the ground, sat up my seat, and started looking around at the other moms. What do they do while waiting? And I've come to the conclusion that if Gage had to choose from all the moms....he'd take me and my Valentine socks over most of the other ones. Like the one in the white mini van with her face pushed up against her mirror, tweezers in hand, plucking out her chin hairs. Or maroon van mom, who's big pregnant, sitting on her bumper, smoking a cigarette. Then there's the mom in the white extended cab truck behind me with her finger pushed so far up her nose, I'm scared for her. Yeah...I think Gage is lucky to have a "cool mom" like me. hahaha. If only he knew...

My son....

I guess when boys reach a certain age, they just get more retarded than they already are. Before Christmas I asked Gage what he wanted for Christmas. He said he wanted a wheelchair. I'm like...you're kidding, right? He says, nooo. It's fun to play around in them. Ok, NO wheelchairs! You ruhtard!!
THEN he and my cousin's kids all want to go to Academy. Gage got some gift cards from there and they were burnin' a hole in his pocket! So I took all three boys and one girl to Academy. I waited in the car, because they were taking too long. Finally after being in the car for 45 minutes, I texted Gage and told him to wrap it up! They all came to the car....empty handed. Then they were like....can we go to Wal Mart??? Which I think all of them had gift cards to there. I said the only way I would take them was if I could drop them off and they could convince one of the many people at my sister's house to come pick them up.
So, Leah agrees to pick them up later.
Then Gage calls and asks if I would give him $20 for his $25 gift card to Wal Mart. Sorry, bud...I have no cash.
So, then he texts Leah and asks her the same thing, because he found something at PetSmart he wanted to buy. Wait....I thought you were at Wal Mart??
Ok, they walked over to PetSmart. I asked him what he was going to buy our dog at PetSmart.
No, he wants to buy his girlfriend a necklace.
At PetSmart?
I joke with my cousins that he's going to buy his girlfriend a dog tag! haha.
Leah picks them all up....what did my son do? He bought his girlfriend a dog tag.......yeah. Wow.
It says,"I love you -Gage"
haha. Kinda sweet. Really corny. I'm sure there was something better than that he could find, right?
What a dork!!
Monday night, Gage stayed the night with his friend Casey.
He came home last night...guess how he entered my room....where I was layed up in bed, reading.....
YES! He came strolling in...in a wheelchair!!!
Whaaat?
His friend Casey had one that he used to play on, but he got a golf cart, so he gave Gage his wheelchair.
Seriously?
Why is my son....and his friends...such dorks?
p.s. Pictures of Christmas Party at my sister's to come...along with the story bragging on how well I did with my step mom. I KILLED HER...,.with kindness.
Go, me!

Gage-Bracesless :)

Is my boy handsome or what? :)

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

Slap a ho.

So, now I'm at Leah's, using Lucia's laptop again. Having no internet SUCKS!!!
Me and the boys are just hanging out over here until it's time to head to church.

Yes, I need to start taking my children to church more often.
Once again I took Gage's phone away from him last night. I just wanted to start taking it away at night so he wouldn't be tempted to play on it and stay up all night.
Well, being the good mother that I am (haha) I took a look at his phone.

1. Picture of his girlfriend in a bikini top and short shorts. Uhhh, hello...belly button ring??? You're 14!! Crazy.

2. Picture of another girl (not the girlfriend) with a shirt rolled up under her bra, short shorts, finger in shorts, pulling them down a little. Uhhhhh, seriously??

3. ANOTHER girl...NOT his girlfriend, picture of her in the bathroom mirror with a bra and panties on.

Hello, Parents!!!! Pay attention to what your children are doing!!!
I may be a little too nosey...but my mom wasn't and look at me...I was getting drunk every night at age 16, pregnant by age 17, baby at 18......it's a slippery slope, people!

I mean, do these girls parents not teach them that all 14 year old boys care about is s-e-x?
If they send these suggestive pictures, boys will get the wrong idea...and that is all that they will be to them, from then on out. I mean, really....do boys want THOSE girls as girlfriends??
I think not.
And do these girls think that boys are keeping these pictures to themselves? I can almost guarantee that Gage has showed James these pictures. And other friends as well. I mean, that's what boys do!!!

I'm so frustrated right now.

Girls are too freaking fast.
Parents aren't paying close enough attention.
Boys have hormones...and I HATE it!!!

I haven't been able to think about anything else since finding these pictures last night.
I.AM.FRUSTRATED!!!

I'm about to start calling some moms.
First thing I did.....no more picture messaging on Gage's phone.

He's gonna hate me and call me the devil as soon as he realizes....but a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta DO!!

new panic

Saturday night, my son admitted to me that he has a girlfriend. It's hard for him to do that...because I like to tease him about it. ;)

Sunday, on Facebook, he went from being "Single" to "Being in a relationship". Uhhh, that's big time, baby.

Monday....he's at her house right now.

This is going too fast for me!!!

Panic.Attack. Can I trust him?? We've had the "talks" before. I know how fast boys and girls are these days!! He's probably getting frustrated with me, because I'm texting him every five minutes. haha.

ME: What are you doing?

GAGE: Sitting on the trampoline.

ME: Send me a pic of you and your girlfriend.

ME: She's cute.

GAGE: Yep.

ME: What are y'all doing now?

GAGE: Thinking about going swimming.

ME: Cool.

(10 minutes goes by)

ME: Hey, do you know where the fingernail clippers are?

GAGE: No, mom. Probably in your room.

ME: Ok.

(5 minutes goes by)

ME: What time do you want me to pick you up?

GAGE: I don't know, mother. I've only been here like an hour.

ME: Two hours, actually. I'm just sayin'.

GAGE: Well, I guess you can pick me up tomorrow ;)

ME: Uhh, you're going a little too far on the freedom stuff, buddy.

GAGE: haha. Ok, I don't know when though.

(10 minutes goes by)

ME: Whatcha doing?

GAGE: Sitting on the trampoline, mom. You're so nosey.

ME: I know, I'm such a good mom.

GAGE: Yep. Love you.

(5 minutes goes by)

Gage's girlfriend's friend sends me this pic from Gage's phone.
(some of the text messages have been between me and this friend...she told Gage I'm fun to talk to. haha.)

ME: Too close! Too close!!

Did I mention his signature on his phone is "loves Melissa"?

GAG ME WITH A SPOON!!! I don't know how much of this I can take.

Monday, August 30, 2010

Happy Monday!!...not really, but whatever.

Lacey's, uhh...ex-boyfriend/baby daddy (haha) let Gage borrow his guitar. And a co worker has one she said Gage could have! So, we'll use Chad's until D gives us the one she has. I'm so thankful for all the people who offer to help me out. There's no way I would've been able to afford a guitar....at least not anytime soon. So, that's just awesome that two people have offered!
And sweet Lauren takes guitar lessons and has offered to come help Gage out. Everyone in his class is ahead of him, so any help is so much appreciated! :) I don't want him to get discouraged and quit!!
We have a baseball meeting at 6 today. I THOUGHT I was going to get to come home and watch last nights episode of True Blood, but I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Oh well. I swear, the things I sacrifice for my children!! haha. juuuust kiddin'.
I should've watched it last night, but I was so tired, I went to bed at like 8:30....but then just tossed and turned until about midnight. I should've just gotten up and watched it. Ohhh well.
All the more to look forward to tomorrow. :)

You can do it!

As much as I'm anti-relationship/dating right now, there are times that I wish I had a guy around....for my kids, not me!
So, Gage got guitar and baseball this FRESHMAN year. Yeah, I still can't believe I have a freshman in high school!
Anyways, I feel bad. Today he came home and said he wants out of guitar. He said everyone in his class already plays and is so far ahead of him. He feels like he's holding the class back. I'm like, seriously?? You've been in school for 3 days. How can you be holding them back? But he's never played an instrument. He has no idea about notes and finger placement and whatever. But apparently everyone else is already that far. :( It makes me sad. I was really excited about him taking guitar. James Cook was nice enough to offer to give him lessons. (For those who don't know James Cook, he's the "local celebrity", plays in clubs and what-not, he's very good!) So, I'm going to talk to Gage about that and hope that he doesn't get out of the class just yet!!
And as for baseball, I feel bad that his dad isn't around to practice with him. :( A lady at work has a son in law that played at Rider and is now playing for the Angels and will surely be moving up fast! She said he would gladly work with Gage while he's in town. But he's only in town a few weeks every few months. :/
Zac's dad played ball at Rider also. He got a scholarship playing ball and is pretty good. He used to work with Gage when we were married and Gage played t-ball, 5-pitch, all that. But I think it would be a little inappropriate to ask him now days.....not sure his wife would like that too much.
So, I'm feeling a little guilty right now. I guess I can take him to the batting cages and let him practice.
He's really excited about baseball and I just hope he doesn't quit, like he's wanting to with guitar....already.
Low self esteem and feeling like he's not capable of accomplishing something...must've gotten that from his mom :( I just wish he'd really try instead of giving up so fast.

Monday, August 23, 2010

First day of school.....*tear*

Happy First Day of School, kiddos!!
When I pulled up to Zac's school, he said,"I don't think I want to go today." haha. I was like, sorry bud, you don't have a choice! Poor guy. But he gets out at 1 today, it'll be a short day.

Gage thinks he's too cool to get his "first day of school" picture taken. I really don't understand the black socks. I always tell him how retarded it looks, but he says it's the "style". Seriously?
When we went to orientation, there were so many boys wearing the black socks.
I say,"ewww". Some of the boys were even wearing the black socks with the slip on Nike shoes, flip flops...whatever they are.
d.o.r.k.s.

But I guess if that's THEIR style....then go for it. :) I'm sure I wore plenty of things in my life that my mom thought was just as retarded. haha.
I hope my boys have a wonderful first day!! :)

Friday, August 20, 2010

My baby's a big boy now.

I survived high school orientation. I couldn't catch my breath on my way to pick up Gage and head that way. When we got there I started shaking. Is this insane, or what? I mean, seriously...I'm the mom and I was way more nervous than Gage was. But once we started walking around the school, I felt a little better. I was showing him where all his classes were. It's so weird taking my son to orientation at the same high school I went to! It brought back a lot of memories. :)
We're both super excited about his schedule. He got baseball and guitar!! So exciting. When we signed up for the classes, they said that it is very rare for a Freshman to get guitar. Everyone wants to take it, so usually just the juniors and seniors get the class. But Gage did!
Now I'm going to have to buy him a guitar. I told him the only way I would, is if he would come home and teach me everything he learned in class. haha.
So, I thought I was going to have to take a Xanax, but I'm all good.
Monday.....that may be a different story. :/

Thursday, August 19, 2010

Air....I...need....air.

So, in a couple hours, we're going to "Meet the Teacher" for Zac. :) I'm going to have to warn her that she's going to have her hands full with this boy. :) Zac the maniac!

Going to meet the teacher with Zac, going into 2nd grade is a piece of cake.

Tomorrow is another story. Oh my gosh. My heart is beating so fast just thinking about it.
Orientation at Rider tomorrow! My baby is going to be a Freshman!! Whaaaat?

(someone needs a haircut before Monday!!!)

I'm really having a hard time with this. I try to put it in the back of my mind, but then the girls at work start asking about the kids and school...then they're like,"Oh, Gage is going to high school??" And I get short of breath, tight in the chest, panic. Pure panic.

Someone says, "Those girls are fast. They're little whores." Another one says, "Oh, there are a couple girls by where I live waiting for the bus. They're always out there smoking."
OMG, people! Are you trying to make me have a heart attack?? I can't handle this.

Honestly, I can't. I'm going to have to take a Xanax before taking him tomorrow. I'll probably cry. I most definitely will on the first day of school.
It's like more painful to me than kindergarten was, I think.

Oh, I can't breathe.

I can't talk about it anymore!

Dreams and annoyances and such.

Before I really get started writing this blog, I just wanted to add in a little note. (*ok, it apparently turned into a super long note....sorry.)
For those that know me, like really know me...you know I'm totally telling the truth when I say that I absolutely, under no circumstances, ever want to, or would EVER get back together with my ex-husband. We've have been separated/divorced since Zac was a year old. He is now 7. I wanted out of my marriage. Not to say that he was a bad person. He wasn't. He had a good job, was quite the "family man", tall, decent looking, good to my son, and now good to his son. But I think it's something with me. I'm not big on commitment. Not like I'm one to go and sleep around. I mean, I'm 32 years old and I've only been with THREE people my whole life. First, being Gage's dad. Second, being Zac's dad. And third being my last boyfriend. And all of the relationships lasted at least 4 years or longer. (Even if the last one was on and off and on and off and on and off......) And I never cheated once. Totally and completely loyal, even if they weren't. It's not in me. So, it's not that at all. I think I'm just independent. I don't want anyone telling me what I can and cannot do. Where I can and cannot go. Plus I get pretty reclusive sometimes, where I don't talk to my friends or even my family for like a week straight. Of course, not my kids. I just get where I want it to be just us, at home, chilling. Alone.
I love to be alone. I love being my own person.

With allllllllll of that being said.....I have a little embarrassing thing to admit.
I've been having a lot of dreams about my ex-husband.
I always remember my dreams and I'm always trying to interpret them. Sometimes I'll even look them up online, and I'll be like....hmmm, that actually makes sense.
So, I've been wondering why, why, why am I having dreams about him??? And I've come to a few conclusions, possibly.

1.) He is getting remarried.
I'm very happy for him. She's a nice girl and Zac loves her. She also has a son Zac's age, so he always has fun when he goes to visit. And like I said before, he was always a family man, liked being the "man of the house".

2.) Both of my boys have been on me to "get a boyfriend", "get married", "go on a date".
With Zac, I know it's because he wants a man in the house. Maybe he sees his dad and 'step mom' together and thinks I need someone.
With Gage, I think it's either that he wants a male role model in his life, since he's 14, the age where you really need a man in your life. Since his dad is a freaking meth using loser, who dropped out of his life when he was like 11 years old. Sorry....little bitter there....
Oooooor, I've been thinking lately that he wants me to get a boyfriend, so I will quit being all up in his business. haha. But sorry, that's NOT gonna happen!! I will always want to know, WHERE are you going, WHEN are you going to be home, WHO are you going with, WHY are y'all doing that, and so on. :)
That's just being a mom.

3.) That's really the only two conclusions that I've come to. He's getting married, and my boys are trying to pressure me into being with someone. And while I love my boys more than anything in this world, I have to say, I'm not going to do this for them. I'm not going to go out looking for a man. I'm very happy and comfortable by myself. I love it being just me and my boys.

So, I think I've figured it out, brain. You can stop with the ex-husband dreams. It's really start to annoy the hell out of me. :)
Why can't I just dream about Eric Northman, for crying out loud??? :)

Itchy, itchy, itchy

So, Gage was at the lake all day Friday, Friday night, and today with his friend, Cory. He was tired, so when he got home, he went to bed. We both slept. I fell asleep from 4-7 and Gage slept from 5-9. When he woke up, he showed me a rash he has alllll over his chest and back. It was pretty bad! I figured it was just heat rash from being out at the lake, in the heat.
It's kinda hard to see in this picture, but it is BAD!

But just to be safe, I took him to the emergency room. He said I was sooo over protective and overreacting. haha.
It was pretty busy, but LUCKILY my little sister was working, so we were in and out in about 30 minutes!!
While we were in there, I, of course, started itching all over. haha.
So, turns out, he has Scarlet Fever. Which apparently is caused by some type of strep infection and also very common in kids his age. But he didn't have fever, so they said he's probably not contagious right now. Thank God. Lord knows I can't miss anymore work!!
So, we just got home. He took some Benadryl and his antibiotic and went back to bed.
I guess I'm going to lay down and watch "Stand By Me". :)

"Candy Cane"

Well, I guess back to work tomorrow :( It sure was nice having an extra day off during the week. But only 3 more days and it will be the weekend....again. :)

Another child free weekend! Zac will be at his dad's the next two weekends, before school starts...and Gage is hanging out with his friend Cory, until he has to go back to BOSTON! I thought he moved to Washington.....hmmm, they both end in "ton". haha. Whatev.

So I'm just hanging out, watching "Joy Ride"!

I forgot how much I like this movie. It's been a long time since I've seen it.

I love Steve Zahn and Paul Walker. Steve Zahn cracks me up in this movie. Well, really in pretty much every movie he's in. He was also in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" that Zac and I watched the other day. Cute movie. :)

But really, I REALLY love to look at Paul Walker. Major crush on this boy.
He's just too pretty for words. :) And he's the ONLY reason I'll watch the "Fast and the Furious" movies. :)

School Daze

Another slow week at work, so I get tomorrow off. Woot, woot. :)
I took the boys shopping for some school clothes today and we're going to finish up tomorrow.
Apparently Gage says all he needs are basketball shorts. So, we went to Academy and bought basketball shorts. Here's our conversation:

"Want to go get some school clothes?"
"Yeah, all I need are basketball shorts."
"What about when it gets cold? You'll need some jeans."
"Nah, I wear basketball shorts."
"What if we have another snow storm like last year? You'll freeze."
"I'll wear basketball shorts and a hoodie."

mk. Whatever.

Then I'm talking to Leah later...this is our conversation:

"A girl came in today to get her teeth cleaned, she knows Gage."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, she said ALLLL of her friends have a crush on him."
"Mhm."
"She said everyone makes fun of him...not like he's a dork, but teases him because all he ever wears are basketball shorts. Even in the winter. It's like his trademark."

haha, ok. I get it now. It's his "trademark" and all the girls have a crush on him. haha.

Well, what can I say...he is a cutie!

Zac in the car, being a vampire. Cause I LOVE vampires! haha.

When we were at Academy, I put some bikini briefs in the basket and told Gage I got him some underwear....he picked them up and was like...."NO, Mom!!!"
hahaha. I thought it was funny. :)

I love my kiddos! :)
