A day in the life....: Concerts

Well, I'm going to have a pretty busy end of the week/weekend, so this is going to be my last post for a while!! I know, I know.....you're used to me blogging like 5 times a day. But as I've said 5 billion times....Kings of Leon tomorrow night! And moving the rest of the weekend!! Hopefully I'll have pretty much everything done by Sunday. :) (yeah right.)

So, at church tonight a choir from another church and came to sing for us. Oh.my.gosh. They were soooo good. One lady sang Rugged Cross and my eyes watered up.....I had to fight back the tears!! It was wonderful! Oh how I wish I could sing! :/

I'm finally getting the title to my Saturn, from my dad! I've been wanting it to sell, because Lord knows I could use the money. But everything happens for a reason, and I believe the reason it has taken my dad so long to get it to me is because......Jauque's van broke down. :(
She has FIVE kids and one step daughter. She and her husband have only one car between the two of them. And the engine cracked. So, I think I'm going to let her borrow my car until she can get their other one fixed.

Speaking of Jauque, Gage's dad called her yesterday. Which is fine. I mean, we've all been friends for years. But it's just the fact that he hasn't talked to his son in 2 months.
Anyways, he calls her and says,"So, how's my son doing?"
Seriously? I didn't know he was aware of the fact that he HAS a son! She was like..."Uhh, I don't know, why don't you call him yourself and find out." His excuse? "I just don't know how to fix it." She says,"Well, YOU'RE a grown man and believe it or not, your son is almost a grown man, figure it out."
I know the reason he stays away (aside from the drugs) is the $20, 000 he owes me in child support. But I've told him numerous times that his son needs a man in his life. I need the money, but that's not what is important.
He just doesn't get it. I am so frustrated. He will never change. And that is sad for my son.
Oh well. At least he has me! :) And my family. We love him more than he'll ever know!! <3
Ohhh, Zackary, you know I love you, too. Gosh, you get so jealous!

I love, love, love concerts!! Just a little over 7 weeks to go until my next concert!! I am so excited!!! So, I thought I would post my Top 5 Concerts I've been to. :)

For my 19th birthday, my sister bought me tickets to see Clay Walker. I used to be a HUGE country fan. Not anymore so much....I still like old stuff. And I still love Clay Walker. It seems like you can think a band is just aight, until you see them live and all of the sudden they're your absolute favorite!! That's what happened when me and Jauque went to see Clay Walker. We fell in love!!

I've been in love with Bob Seger since I can remember. My mom had his 8 track, if that tells you anything!! He's getting old, but he is just as good as he ever was!! I love him so much. I teared up when I finally got to see him live. It was ah-maze-zing.

NIGHT MOVES

Then there was Britney Spears!! I, of course, saw her with my BFF. She is, was, and will always be in love with Britney Spears!! I wasn't sure I would really like this concert. I mean, I like a lot of Britney's songs...but this was right after her crazy nervous break down. I was a little worried. haha. But it was an amazing concert! We had so much fun! I'm glad my BFF invited me to go!

Just this April I FINALLY got to see Good Ole Willie Nelson in concert!!! He's another one I grew up listening to, and another one I teared up on, listening to. Is was awesome. I always said I would see him in concert before he dies. And I saw him. And I love him.

Ok, so I can't say that Kings of Leon is one of my Top 5 Concerts I've ever attended. But I will be attending their concert on September 23rd. And I already KNOW that they will make that Top 5. Because I LOVE them so much. When I hear a song of theirs, I just get this feeling...it's hard to describe. Maybe pure happiness. His voice is amazing. I love them.

I love them so much, I saw a contest on Facebook, they were giving away 10 tickets to the "Kings of Lawn" concert. An outdoor concert. So, I had to register to win. I'm a pretty unlucky girl, so I asked my luckiest and bestest friend, Marianne to register, too.

I am so glad I asked, I'm so glad she did....because she won!!! And I am so freaking excited!!
