The drive home yesterday was so pretty :)
I tried to capture it....with my crap cell phone. haha.

It didn't really work. But see how the the clouds have lines in them? A ray of sunshine was coming through every opening.
And it was so freaking pretty.

Fat Booth!

My sister got a new app on her iPhone. Fat Booth. And let me tell you, we had some fun with it last night!! We went to eat at El Chico's and I could not stop taking pictures of everyone and making them fat! It was so fun.

Of course, I had to share the pics........

Here's me...Marianne, if my face ever gets THIS fat, tell me to stop eating Hot Fries and drinking Dr Peppers! haha.

Fair 2010

So, we went to the fair last night. We had a pretty good time. :) Me, Marianne, Gage, and Zac met Leah and Jack up there.

We went to the petting zoo, where you could go in and feed the animals. This little guy took a liking to me. He practically crawled up in my lap. When I stood up and stepped back, he walked back up to me and started nursing on my pant leg. It was so cute.
So, I told Zac and Jack to feed him, he was eating me! They did, then he came back and starting chewing on my pant leg again. haha. It was cute. :)




Marianne wanted a picture with the little one so bad, but the big ones kept getting in the way. The big animals bullied the little ones and stole all the food. haha. They were very annoying.




Jack had a good time feeding them. He just laughed when they ate right out of his hand.




This is always Zac's favorite part of going to the fair. We usually spend the most time here.




As we were leaving, Marianne saw a spray on tattoo place and SOMEHOW saw that they had a Seahorse...from like 5 miles away. haha.
She wants a seahorse tattoo soooo bad, so she figured she'd get a fake one to see how she liked it...and to see how her boss would react!!




It was VERY cute and I totally think she needs to get it...permanently!!! She loved it...she kept staring at it. haha.

All in all, it was a good night at the fair. It was freaking hot and we were all soaking with sweat, and it was PACKED, but it was fun. Marianne got her carnie food and my kids had a good time.

Well, I guess Gage had a good time....he left us for his friends. :( He's just getting to old to hang out with mom, I guess. So sad.

Day 22: A website

Today I get to share a website with you. I've mentioned my cousin's baby, Annabel in the 30 Day Challenge before, but now I'll go into a little more detail. :)

My cousin Carrie had a beautiful little girl about a year and a half ago. Her name is Annabel Leigh.

She was born with Trisomy 18. The doctors told Carrie and Jorge that she would likely not make it a week. When they sent her home, they sent Hospice, thinking she wouldn't be around too long. Needless to say, the whole family was heart broken about this special little baby. Carrie and Jorge's first child. But she proved everyone wrong. She's a little fighter!!

She may be about a year and a half....but she only weighs about 11 pounds. She's just recently started eating baby food. She was on a feeding tube for a long time, but now has the one that goes in the belly button....not sure what it's called. Anyways, she practices sucking on bottles, but every little thing wears her out and is hard on her little heart. So, now that she is starting baby food....wow. She is just amazing.

She is the happiest little thing. Always smiling!! It's hard to believe that in just a couple months this little 11 pound baby will be a big sister!!

Labor Day Weekend

Ohhh, how sad that this is the last day of the wonderful 3 day weekend. I finally got to spend some time with Jauque. We've been friends since 5th grade! She's one of my oldest friends. We've been through a lot. Good and bad.
She's a year younger than me, but has FIVE kids!! And I'm a single mom with two boys...so obviously it's hard for us to be able to find time to get together. Gage and her son are just 3 months apart. And they're best friends...and have been since they were newborn babies. :) James is like my second son!
So, Saturday Jauque and I met up for lunch at P3 (Pioneer 3). We just had chips and hot sauce, smoked, talked. It was nice to catch up. Then we went to check out the new TJ Maxx store.
James wanted to stay the night, so after our afternoon together, I went to Henrietta to pick him up. Jauque wanted to cook out, so we stayed, visited, and ate. It was a good time.

Another slow day at work tomorrow. Only FIVE patients. I had the option to take the day off again, but my paycheck wouldn't appreciate that much...soooo, I suppose I'll go in. :) But I'll definitely be leaving early. I can't stand to sit at work and have NOTHING to do!

So, only two more pages left to go on my sister's scrapbook. :)

The Kraken from (the original) Clash of the Titans. Everytime he would start cracking we'd say,"THE KRAKEN IS CRACKIN'!" and die laughing. We thought it was so funny. Then of course, Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys. Kevin Bacon in Footloose, it says,"You ever get busted for bopping?" haha. The crypt keeper from Tales from the Crypt. When we would stay the weekend with my dad, we'd stay up late and watch it. :) Then of course, one of our all time FAVORITE movies, Mommie Dearest. "No wire hangers, EVER!!!" And John Travolta, Danny in Grease. :) Good stuff. I have another page filled with that stuff too. We've always been big movie watchers and movie quoters. :)




Then here is part of a page that is dedicated to our sisters trip to Cancun a couple summers ago. Oh what a wonderful time we had!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already. BLAH!!
I had a good little weekend though. I just got home from Leah's, we watched "True Blood" together! I just love that show! :)

I took Zac to the park today. It was another hot day, with the temp at 105 degrees...AGAIN!
When we were at the park, Zac said,"It's so hot out here, my armpits are getting moister." haha. Made me think of Ashley at work because she HATES the word moist. haha. So, I had to text her.

This is what Zac did the minute we got in the car and I turned the air conditioner on. hahaha.
That boys cracks me up.


Then I was reading the paper today and Zac said, "I thought reading the paper was only what hobos and the olderly did". (Elderly) Funny guy. :)



After the park, we went to Leah's to go swimming. Lucia had painted Jack's fingernails and toenails.

But he wanted it off, so Lucia took it off for him. :)

I love these kids. :)

So, now I'm off to bed. Another week of work.....blah.

It's gonna be a long, slow week!! Maybe I'll get to have a day off. I'm just sayin', it'd be nice.....
