One more day until the weekend, ho!

Today is a good day.
First my wonderful little sister, Lacey, surprised me with.....

TRUE BLOOD SEASON 3!!!

I am so super excited about this! I now have Seasons 1-3 and Season 4 starts on the 26th of this month!!
I am so going to watch ALL THREE seasons before the 4th starts, so I can be all up to date. haha.
laaaame, I know. but I'm super excited!

I <3 you, sista! Then we ordered some El Nortenos today for lunch!! YUM! As you can see I ordered a grease burrito with a side of chorizo, potato, and cheese. haha. It is super greasy, but oh so good!

Wow. Looking at it now, I'm wondering if my stomach is going to be able to handle it in there much longer!
ha.

Imagine...if you will....

You leave your sister's house to pick up your son from the movies....(date with his girlfriend).
That is a scary thing. Your 14 year old son on a date! haha.
But when you get back to your sister's house, you open the garage door and walk into the garage.
Hiding over to the side....you see something jerkily coming towards you...and it's this face...


Yeah. My sister looooves to scare me. I jumped and covered my face and yelled,"Good God, Almighty!!!" haha.

I, of course, did not get a picture of my sister in the mask, so I made Jack put it on...just so you could get a visual. :)
Yeah, my heart is still racing.

Last Day of Summer Vacation!

So, tonight is a school night! TONIGHT is a SCHOOL night! The summer just flew by! I think we had a good summer. Tomorrow I will have a boy in the second grade and a boy in the ninth grade. Crazy. crazy.
I had a fun weekend!! Friday night, we went to Parkway for my sister's birthday. :)
Me, Leah, Marianne, Lauren (my cousin's wife), Erin (Marianne's friend), three of Leah's co workers. A friend of Leah's from high school and his wife. It was a lot of fun. I think I drank a little too much....I lit a cigarette on the wrong end. I cut myself off after that. Lauren tried to stop me, but she wasn't fast enough. So embarrassing. haha. But I knew it was time to start drinking some water!! haha. Zac was at his dad's and Gage baby sat my sister's little boy, so we could go out. We got home around 1:00 a.m.
Then Saturday we went to my mom's for Leah's birthday lunch. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and Leah's favorite....my mom's made-from-scratch Red Velvet Cake! Good stuff.
Today hasn't been as much fun. I've already done dishes, finished up the laundry, gone grocery shopping. And slowly, but surely cleaning up.
Before long, it will be time to start getting the kiddos ready for bed and their first day of school!!
I took tomorrow off, so I could take them both to school and pick them up. :)

I'm super excited about True Blood tonight!! :)

I'll have to post pictures of our fun Parkway night later. Gotta make my sis upload them and send them to me :)

I always have at least one or two favorites on Postsecret each week. This week there are two.

I think my older sister does know how much I value her opinion and how influential she is in my life. But I still like this postcard.
[And speaking of my older sister, I, of course, could not wait until her birthday to give her the scrapbook. She looked through it and laughed so hard. Then looked through it a second time and cried. Awww. I'm so happy she like it!]

Back to school bash for Lu and her friends.

Lucia had an "end of summer" pool/sleepover last night. I went to help Leah out with all the 14 girls Lucia had over! OMG, it was craziness. But about five of the moms stayed, too. Marianne came to hang out, too. We had SO much fun. The adults sat outside drinking wine, beer, smoking, talking. The kids went swimming, were running in and out of the house. We ordered like 5 pizzas. 4 bottles of wine, started with a case of beer and had to go out and buy more around 11. I believe all the alcohol was gone. haha. I went home about 1 a.m. And woke up with the WORST headache EVER. I haven't drank that much since Chicago. But it was really a lot of fun. Nothing but a bunch of girls, hanging out.

This is Leah's friend Adrian and her daughter Arial. Leah and Adrian have been friends since jr high or highschool. Adrian is so awesome.


This is a co worker of Leah's. Her name is Kelly. Leah said that Kelly reminds her a lot of me. Being that we're both very quite and hard to get to know. We don't let just anyone in. But once you're in, or we feel you're "worthy" of being in (haha), you're in for good. And we're very loyal. That sounds about right. haha. We do differ in the fact that she's a little wild, a bit of a party-er. But she was cool.

And of course, me and my bff. My face was red because I was soooo hot. Marianne's was red because she had a lot of wine. haha.

Leah didn't take a lot of pictures, because we were just having too much fun talking and hanging out.
We had a good time. Next time, we need to have an adults ONLY girls night. :)

I got off work at 9 o'clock this morning. Very nIIIce. Three hours is better than none, right?? :)




So, I got my sister's scrapbook finished...now I wonder if I can wait until the 23rd to give it to her? Probably not. haha. I'm the worst about wanting to give gifts the minute I get them...or in this case, finish them. :)

I picked up Zac from the Youth Senter and we went to Hobby Lobby to buy some stuff to finish it up. This is him in the parking lot.....apparently this is the look I get when I sing. :)
Hey, I know I can't sing! But I like to, anyways...and if you're in MY car, you have to listen to it! haha.






When we got back in the car, out of the 105 degree heat, Zac once again told me his armpits were getting moister. But this time he added...."turn on the air conditioner or mushrooms will start growing out of my pits!"

Scrapbooking almost done! Holllaaaa.

Another slow day at work tomorrow. Only FIVE patients. I had the option to take the day off again, but my paycheck wouldn't appreciate that much...soooo, I suppose I'll go in. :) But I'll definitely be leaving early. I can't stand to sit at work and have NOTHING to do!

So, only two more pages left to go on my sister's scrapbook. :)

The Kraken from (the original) Clash of the Titans. Everytime he would start cracking we'd say,"THE KRAKEN IS CRACKIN'!" and die laughing. We thought it was so funny. Then of course, Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys. Kevin Bacon in Footloose, it says,"You ever get busted for bopping?" haha. The crypt keeper from Tales from the Crypt. When we would stay the weekend with my dad, we'd stay up late and watch it. :) Then of course, one of our all time FAVORITE movies, Mommie Dearest. "No wire hangers, EVER!!!" And John Travolta, Danny in Grease. :) Good stuff. I have another page filled with that stuff too. We've always been big movie watchers and movie quoters. :)




Then here is part of a page that is dedicated to our sisters trip to Cancun a couple summers ago. Oh what a wonderful time we had!

Lazy, no work day, Tuesday. :)

So out of no where, it just started pouring down rain! I'm almost tempted to take a nap!




But I have done nothing, but watch movies and work on my sister's scrapbook all day!
I went to Hastings and bought a couple magazines and rented a movie. It has Sookie and Bill from True Blood in it. I don't think it's going to be very good, but I love Sookie and Bill. :)

Now THAT brings back some memories......

So, I'm making a scrap book for my big sis for her birthday coming up...on August 23rd. She'll be the big THREE-SIX!!!

I went out to my garage and started looking through boxes of pictures that I have. Wow. There are so many pictures out there! Some I could have gone without seeing. Pics with the ex-husband, ex-boyfriends. Awkward junior high school years.

But I found an old picture that I had to share. It's a picture of me and my bff, Marianne, at a baby shower the JCP girls threw for me. I was pregnant with my youngest, Zac.
