Now THAT brings back some memories......

So, I'm making a scrap book for my big sis for her birthday coming up...on August 23rd. She'll be the big THREE-SIX!!!

I went out to my garage and started looking through boxes of pictures that I have. Wow. There are so many pictures out there! Some I could have gone without seeing. Pics with the ex-husband, ex-boyfriends. Awkward junior high school years.

But I found an old picture that I had to share. It's a picture of me and my bff, Marianne, at a baby shower the JCP girls threw for me. I was pregnant with my youngest, Zac.

I'm cleaning house today! No REALLY, I am!! I was just picking up all the freaking dishes in Gage's room...which HE was supposed to do BEFORE he went to his friend Cory's house.....mhm, typical teenager!!

So, I went to put the dishes in the kitchen and something moved in my sink!! And what do I see....this little lizard...or whatever the hell it is.....just chillin' in my sink, like he owns the place.

You're kinda cute, little buddy. But no. You belong OUTside. So, I picked him up with a paper towel and threw him outside.

I'm glad Zac isn't here, he'd be wanting to keep him as a pet.

Ew.

Ok, I'm going to go clean some more now. :)

Nice little start to my weekend. :)

Lucia did my hair today! Isn't it just beautiful!?! I wouldn't dare make anyone look at my horrible, tired, mascara-smeared face with glasses. haha. I was looking pretty rough. Plus, I didn't want to take away from the hair, ya know. haha.
I love when people play with my hair. It's so relaxing. haha. :)




So, "Ramona and Beezus" was absolutely adorable. I cried, but seriously.....what movie do I NOT cry on?? It's was pretty predictable, typical kid movie...but it still got me. :) The little girl that played Ramona did such a good job!

And of course, Aiden (from Sex and the City) John Corbett did wonderful, too. I just love him in everything!! He played a good daddy. :)

Ohhh, and cute little Gigi (from He's Just Not That Into You) Ginnifer Goodwin was sweet in this movie too. I always like her characters that she plays. Her little romance with Josh Duhamel was sometimes a little too much to bare. But it was sweet. As Alex (Justin Long in "He's Just Not That Into You") would say,"You're not the exception!! You're the rule!!!" But once again...she was the exception. haha. But that's just the way MOVIES go! :)

So, after the movie, we took Lucia home...(she also LOVED the movie) then stopped by BWW. I don't think I've had a sip of alcohol since we went to Chicago!! So, naturally after just one beer, I was feeling it. Eh, I'm a lightweight anyways. :) It was nice to chit chat and have a nice, cold Miller 64 anyways. :)

Tomorrow? Maybe shopping for school clothes? That's always fun, right?

Fun Filling in the Blanks Friday, from Lauren.

1. Today for breakfast I ate nothing yet. I should be getting ready for work, but I really, really, really don't want to.

2. My go to/never fail recipe would be....Dominos Pizza. I'm not much of a cook :)

3. Something I eat that other people think is weird is ummm, french fries with mustard? HotFries and Dr Pepper for breakfast?

4. My worst cooking disaster ever was when I was 17 and pregnant with my oldest son. I craved fried potatoes allll the time. One night, at midnight, I wanted some fried potatoes, so I went to make some.....and caught the kitchen on fire. Ok, not really the whole kitchen, but I did catch the curtains on fire. We had to paint the kitchen, it was black because of all the smoke. :) Like I said, I'm not much of a cook!

5. If I could only eat one flavor of ice cream the rest of my life it would be chocolate chip cookie dough.

6. One food I hate and avoid at all costs is cottage cheese. Maybe it's good, I don't know....I just can't look at it without wanting to vomit.

7. What is your favorite meal? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner? lunch. It's the only meal I actually eat I snack on chips for breakfast, eat lunch, then snack or have a bowl of cereal for dinner .

Ohhhh, how I love "Titanic". It's one of those movies I'll never get tired of watching. Me and Zac just got finished writing some postcards and watching "Titanic".
Well, I watched as much as could with my 7 year old. This is pretty much how it went the whole time.....

"Are they gonna die, mom?"
"She's not, he is."
"But he came out of the water, he's not going to die!"
"He did come up, but the water is very cold, he's gonna freeze."
"Is he gonna get eaten by a shark?"
"No, Zac, he's going to freeze in that cold water."
"If that was us, I would want to die, not you, mom."
"That's sweet, Zac, but mom's go first! Not kids!!"
"I would still love you so much, even if you died."
"Thank you, Zac. I will love you, too, even when I'm dead........hey, can we watch the movie now?" :)

Oh the joys of having children.....while watching movies.


James Cameron has talked about re-releasing "Titanic" in 3D. Would you go see it? I would fo'sho'.
