It has been years since we've all been together for Christmas!
Before we ate lunch, my Uncle Jack said a prayer. Then Lucia said a prayer.
Then my aunt Linda said she wanted to say a few words.
She said,"I just want to say...if I can without crying"...then she teared up and started crying. She said."I am so thankful that the younger generation got us all together again, after so many years. It's so great to be all together again" I can't remember everything else she said because I started crying along with everyone else. It was sweet. And Leah told them all that they are always welcome in her home anytime.
I hope we all get to get together again soon.

What a wonderful Christmas!!! I can only imagine know how much your dad's family appreciated all of you getting them back together again. It reminded me of a conversation between you guys and GAB (I just love Brenda! haha)at Jeff and Natalie's wedding reception in Chicago (SO.MUCH.FUN! Thanks again for giving me such an AMAZING holiday and for wanting me to be a part of it so bad you made it possible. I will NEVER EVER forget that! I love you!) and I'm so thankful that you guys all got together again! I love seeing all the photos. I love your family period. I have had so much fun with you, your sisters, yours and their kiddos, your cousins and your aunts (including your mom's side)! This post warmed my heart!
this made my heart smile! what a gift you and your cousins are giving you children in creating a community amongst their family. my BEST memories in life all centre on my family and i am so thankful that my parents placed so much importance on ours. so thankful.
